I think a lot of people don't give Ramsey credit. As a first season back from a serious injury last season should be considered a triumph. He was played all over the place and although you can say he didn't do anything particularly special coming forwards, I'm not sure he made too many defending mistakes. Without knowing exactly what he was asked to do by Wenger it is difficult to be too unhappy with him. He played 44 games, W25 L12 D7 so you can't say that his record was terrible. If we had kept that kind of record overall in the league we would have finished exactly where we finished, 3rd. I think he was an average member of the team, but at 21, in his first full season back from injury, I don't think that is a bad performance. Sometimes we expect too much. Don't be surprised if he makes a fool out of some people this year.
It's shame that some Arsenal "fans" chose to pick Ramsey as the fall guy for all our problems last season
Some don't use him as a fall guy for anything. They just don't think he is good enough to pull on the shirt for AFC. ...and he's a Welshey
Another Afellay rumour http://www.arsenalnews.co.uk/arsenal-make-tentative-afellay-enquiries/link/647869/ Old purple nose has admitted that Stretford F.C. have made a bid for the grey haired Dutch ****
Same here, he filled in well for that bloke who played as a striker for us last season in 2010/11, when that bloke was injured.
Yes but he is only 21 - we gave RVP until he was 26 - at least! Please at least say that he is not good enough to pull on the shirt, YET. And I am going to ignore your slur against our ovine-loving compatriots. My family has welsh connections, I had a great uncle who lived in Wales and was very big in sheep.
Ramsey will be quality. It would be dumb to let him go. Made a real difference when he came on today and just needs confidence.
Interesting. BBC and sky also report that Rvp will NOT be travelling to Asia with the rest of the team amid reports he is refusing to board the plane.
