According to the Mail, his release clause is £13 Mil but we are also throwing in Chamakh. So get rid of Chamakh and throw so money on top of that to get this guy. Also, we could get some more money from the potential sale of Bendtner and co. Last season was a freak. We had one class CF and he never got injured. We can't test our luck and try that again without getting new forwards next season.
I heard a rumour that Yann M'Vila is holding a press conference at 3;30 pm today to announce his future.
I saw it on another forum earlier (Ja606 i think). Like i said RUMOURED to be holding. Don't have a go if it isn't true.
But BBC Sport's David Ornstein says on Twitter:"M'Vila camp tell me he will not be joining Arsenal or any other PL club as things stand. Only serious interest from elsewhere in Europe ‪#afc" FFS.
http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sco.../4337377/Hooper-I-want-to-play-for-Barca.html Nothing to do with Arsenal, but it cheered me up.
Guy from young guns blog says M'Vila didn't discuss his future at the press conference, and is likely to move after the Euro's, if he does move. Either way, we won't be signing him.
Does look as if MVila is off the cards - but according to Wenger he never made an offer for him, so i dont think we ever missed out. I dont think anything will happen in terms of more signings until very late - what with Euros and the tour. Still we can live in hope.
I really really do not want Vertonghen if Spurs dont clinch the deal. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag.../Jan-Vertonghen-issues-Tottenham-warning.html
I'm starting to think we've finished our incoming transfers already. It's the outgoing ones i'm worried about. What if Poldi is a replacement for RvP?
I think Vertonghen has alienated all Arsenal fans with these stupid comments. Does he know nothing about the rivalry? He's basically saying he likes Spurs more than us, so I agree: whether he joins Spurs or not, we probably shouldn't go for him now.
Don't worry, there are over three months until the transfer window shuts. In fact, there is more than five weeks before it even opens.
I think the reason the likes of M'Vila have toyed around with Arsenal pre-Euros is to find a 'secure' buy. Now no matter if they do really bad in the Euros, they know they have a place to fall back. If they do really well on the Euros however, they might entertain offers from more ambitious clubs.
