Quite correct. You should be encouraged you managed such an admiral result against what was mostly a reserve squad for Man City. City were missing Hart,Richards, Clichy, Lescott , Barry, Milner, Nasri, Dzeko, De Jong, & Balotelli.

I know right. It's not as if our first tem didn't dominate and beat yours. Oh wait...it did.

guilty - but we missed the game to be with a guy on his last month or maybe 2.

    Sometimes there are other priorities.

poor sod is watching his talented wife descend into dementia too.

Not a barrel of laughs for us, either.

Anyway - there is always knockabout humour on forums - <wah>

Just seen the highlights of yesterday's match. Jenkinson was a bit at fault for both goals, but...

To be honest I'm quite surprised no one even mentioned how casual Vermaelen looked for both of those goals? Didn't even attempt a block for the first goal, and was in the best position to intercept the assist for the 2nd goal.

Although not a welshey like Ramsey, Jenkinson sounds like a welshey and so deserves everything he gets.

Game gave me a lot of reasons to be excited for next seasons. We kept the ball very well in the second half - something we were not able to do for large sections of last year and the kids especially Ox and Coquelin looked really great. With the rest of the squad to join in we can only get better. Van Persie can leave if he wants.
