I beg to differ. I think the USA is a bit tight with their gun laws. They really ought to be allowed proper snipers, rpg’s and guided misiles for those with the means to afford such things. An assault rifle isn’t going to cut it vs a heavily equipped rogue government or any foreign power with the means to invade the USA. Either go all in or it’s pretty pointless.
Those small Heckler & Koch's fit nicely in a man bag though, perfect for any budding cartel to storm Washington.

No civilian fecker needs an assault rifle like the fruitcakes in the US are allowed to have, FACT.
Bollox!!! If I lived there I'd have several intercontinental ballistic missiles with nuclear warheads just in case things got serious, for more gentle spats I'd have one of those big toys that Tony Montana met his maker with.

ive seen multiple angles

and it was nothing but straight up murder, he pulled out his pistol and shot him multiple times in the back at close range, he was lucky he didnt hit any of the other ice officers, it was blatant murder
he had about 5 or 6 people on while on the ground, pretty sure they ever pepper sprayed him from about 1 inch

him having a gun is irrelevant, he was already on the ground with said 5 or 6 guys on him

you can think 'ice' are a good thing, but if theyre not held accountable, then thats when you get the gestapo

think the shooter will be getting a big sentence

He who did it, his life won't be worth living, he's been named with pics on social media.... in fact there are postings of ICE agents their names ands pictures too...

Someone posted stating that the contract for ICE agents was a 50k bonus, but the small print was 10k on joining and the rest 10k a year over the 5 years. BUT... it they leave at any time in that period they have to repay the bonus. Read the small print... (they'll disband the operation a week before 5 years)

Dont know. Generally try to avoid most news these years since covid, but this came up in discussion, so took a superficial interest. I guess if what you've seen and heard from different videos is true, there will be five witnesses and now ex-colleagues to act for the prosecution.

Just still find it really odd that someone would take a gun on a protest demo and then whilst armed, get involved with stopping an apprehension of sorts.

Bet the ice agents couldn’t believe their luck. Got to take your chances when life sends then your way.

Research consistently shows a positive, robust correlation between gun availability and increased firearm-related deaths, suggesting that more guns do not act as a reliable deterrent to crime.

Objectives. We examined the relationship between levels of household firearm ownership, as measured directly and by a proxy—the percentage of suicides committed with a firearm—and age-adjusted firearm homicide rates at the state level.

Methods. We conducted a negative binomial regression analysis of panel data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Web-Based Injury Statistics Query and Reporting Systems database on gun ownership and firearm homicide rates across all 50 states during 1981 to 2010. We determined fixed effects for year, accounted for clustering within states with generalized estimating equations, and controlled for potential state-level confounders.

Results. Gun ownership was a significant predictor of firearm homicide rates (incidence rate ratio = 1.009; 95% confidence interval = 1.004, 1.014). This model indicated that for each percentage point increase in gun ownership, the firearm homicide rate increased by 0.9%.

Conclusions. We observed a robust correlation between higher levels of gun ownership and higher firearm homicide rates. Although we could not determine causation, we found that states with higher rates of gun ownership had disproportionately large numbers of deaths from firearm-related homicides.

That’s not what I read on twitter.
