Oozkan is a Galatasaray supporter who hates Acun

Never denied that. Majority of European Turks are Gala supporter, it is the only team we can watch in Europe games, that doesn't change the fact I also support Hull. But I don't need to prove that to you.

You wouldn't need to prove anything if you turned up with your tiger insights before your rival came here.

But unfortunately you didn't, and still don't in relation to match day, just how **** the owner is.

so forgive me. you have no credibility.

Wakes up, reaches for Kindle, thinks "hmmm, there's been a lot of posts overnight" .

**** me, another perfectly normal night on our perfectly normal forum...

This time it's simple housekeeping.

We can save the bunfights for later.

Mods, can we make a no A I rule please?

Rival? My dislike on Acun is nothing related to football, it is pure his shady political connections, and he was not connected to rival club when I joined here. Yet it is true that I didn't come here before his takeover, I started to follow Hull when they reached Premier League as I stated before, how the **** I would know them otherwise and lost part of my interest after similar mismanagement under Egyptian dude. To be honest dropping league was last blow, no tv coverage about that league at where I live, no mention on news at all, even for transfers, so I lost interest gradually. Promotion and Acun takeover coincided in the end, and of course seeing a Turkish community interest in club sparked my attention back but it was a wrong idea apparently.

Yet people like Syd and John in Vietnam still manage to watch every game and keep up with what's happening whatever league we're in. That's a crap excuse. You're not a City fan, sorry.

Tigers+ has been around since our last relegation.

What you think or what I think doesn't matter. I will write one long post and close topic on my side, I didn't see it, neither I am defending it because I have no idea what happened there, truth is, he wasn't even a Gala fan, we know full name of murderer and other person helped him (this one was a Gala fan), since it was in all the news without regular censoring, anyway it was another team fan but I won't give their name because I don't want to label them. My first post was a warning about upcoming backlash and then I followed up with how Turkish people perceive event and flag. You already see it Acun's reaction post, amount of view numbers on Hull tweet reaching 700Ks and newspaper are presenting it as flash news: "Acun banned Turkish flag". Most of the nation believes below statement of murderer, again I am not saying that it is correct, but perception is that, I will share statement it in the end but first more about flag sensitivity of nation.

First Acun part and flag, Acun is bound to Turkish laws that includes law of flag, a small part of article 7 of Law of Flag clearly states: "The Turkish Flag shall not be insulted or shown disrespect by speech, writing, action or any other means". It doesn't matter if event happens in UK or on the other side of world, you can understand seriousness of offence against flag from how hastily he responded in the middle of night, if all newspapers starts to write "Acun banned Turkish flag" as I shared, you know you are in deep ****. The notion of flag is very different in Turkey than UK and disrespect can be very lenient things that you won't even notice during the day (I will give Nato example below, simply putting flag on ground considered as disrespect same article 7 states: It shall not be put on places where people sit or stand.). I don't expect you comprehend it easily of course, but as an example I am not even living there for two decades, my Turkish is fading every day more and more, but even I know entire national anthem is dedicated to flag, 41 very very long verses only about flag, part you hear during national team games is only 8 verses, first 4 is about star of the flag and next 4 is about crescent of flag. It is forbidden to wear it as clothing, it is forbidden to leave it on ground, even during battle closest soldier should stop fighting and collect it, otherwise you can face measures (normally fine is more lenient and only monetary, but depending on situation it can elevate to treason charges, and I mean it, there are example cases) etc. etc., huge deal there. I will provide you a proof about seriousness of this law how Turks are embodied it: you can see Erdogan or any Turkish official is collecting Turkish flag during NATO and EU events when they put it as a sign on ground to mark where they should stand:

Statement of murderer to understand why flag is a sensitive topic, especially in this case and why it put Acun in a though position with a simple tweet:

"My uncle and 4 friends and I went to Taksim around 18:00-19:00 as we always do. There was a restaurant that we always hung out at, which is no longer in service. We were sitting at the tables outside. There was a bar two rows down from where we were sitting. A group of 15-20 hooligans from Leeds were leaving that bar and coming towards the area where we were sitting. It was obvious from their strange behavior that they had drunk a lot of alcohol. "
- What kind of strange thing are you talking about?
"They were harassing women and girls on the road. They started throwing alcohol bottles at the restaurant 2 rows away from us. They were damaging bus stops and taxis. Then they started pulling down their pants and rubbing the Turkish flag on their genitals. They were also swearing at Turkish citizens passing by. They harassed a young girl there very badly. Then, a fight broke out. Because Turkish citizens also started to react to this behavior of the hooligans. "
- How did you intervene in the incident?
"When my uncle saw two hooligans rubbing the Turkish flag on his genitals and crushing it under their feet, he could not stand it anymore and stood up and headbutted a hooligan. Thereupon, all the Leeds fans attacked my uncle from behind. They stabbed my uncle in the leg."

What an absolute crock of ****.

That must be why clubs like Huddersfield and Birmingham went bust.

Belloumi, millar, Hughes, Kamara, drameh, puerta all are good young players who other clubs would pay fees for.

I get it, you think we're doomed. You've said the same thing multiple times.

No, he's just promoting that narrative. Because there's plenty on here who will listen.

I don't really understand all this hostility towards oozkan. He's shared a Turkish perspective on things which we wouldn't otherwise have had. I found it interesting and slightly alarming to know about the backlash in Turkey. I don't think he's trolling or posting anything antagonistic. I think it's a shame this conversation has had to end up in the nonsense thread and from where I'm sitting it's not his fault.
