You beat us by one extra place and a few extra points after several seasons of it being much closer. Let's see what happens in 2015

Anything that sees The Spamners finish anywhere but in the relegation zone is an improvement.

Well that just shows how far off the radar Utd were in scouting top quality talent, seeing as you weren't in for him.

Then again, given the number of top players who have snubbed Utd recently, he wouldn't have joined LVG's hoofball outfit anyway.

Arsenal to finish 3rd or 4th, reach CL last 16 and lose to PSV.

    Its a near certainty.

Well that's what I'm saying, after having come close when we've been at our weakest for several years, Arsenal are now establishing a widening gap between ourselves and Spurs again.

We signed the better player at the time so had no need for Sanchez. He made the right choice mind. Liverpool ffs <laugh>

And how would anyone know LvG was going to play hoof ball. Incredibly accurate hoofball at that? Prior to this season no van Gaal side had ever made a pass over 6 meters.

Are you saying he wasnt the better player at the time of purchase. Based purely on last season Sanchez clearly was better but prior to that? Di Maria had very few peers the season before and Sanchez certainly wasnt one of them.

You bought a Turkey (and set a new record for pissing money up the wall) and we signed a gem.

    That's the short of it.

Di marias first season wasnt one for the record books. He did however rack up numbers that most will never achieve, certainly looked the part early on and scored the best goal of the season.

It was easily his worst season yet he still outperformed most. Thats what world class players do.

He can only get better. Same with Sanchez as like Di Maria, he vanished off the face of the earth at times last season.

I assume you're familiar with the saying, One swallow does not a summer make? So, rather than just going on the results of one season, I think we need far more sustained evidence of your assertion!

Not very wise starting a thread about the ramblings of another when you have a prize c*nt in charge of your own...

Just a couple of recent gems there.

Mate we've finished above you consistently for the last two decades and won a ton of trophies and two doubles in that time. It's hardly 'one swallow' now is it ?

I think we're referring to the last few seasons in the Premier league. There we have finished narrowly behind you for several years, all apart from last year. A " ton of trophies" equals two F.A. Cups.

That's two trophies in the last two years then, which is a sign of the gap widening again. Even when we were at our weakest and spurs looked like a half decent outfit (with vdv, bale and modric) you still couldn't catch us.

I'd expect that gap which has been re-established to get back to its normal gulf again in the next couple of seasons.

We should have caught you, and would have but for 'Arry boys obsession with the England job! We still got further than you in the C.L. Though.

Your club has infinitely more resources than ours. In my opinion, you've underperformed, or we've over performed. Given the gap in resources, the gap between us in the premiership should be greater. However, apart from the last season, we've been within touching distance of you for several previous seasons.
