I don't understand how you can believe a bunch of business men over a proud footballer nearing his end of his career and playing for a club he has given so much to and loved for so long. Clearly docko, the Allan's £40million has bribed you and they've successfully made you believe they are great people. I am certainly not anti Allam's but I now do not trust them. Remember what a nice guy Duffen seemed at first.
Welcome back PT I think everyone knows by now that you have reliavble inside information but plenty will choose to ignore it and say something like "I'll believe the Allams over a message board insiider thanks" in order to allow this nonsense to continue. He's proved he has inside information many times before. And some fans liked them at first, them became a little bit sceptical when they started behaving a bit strangely and transfer windows got gradually less and less exciting and then started to think they were completely bonkers when things got even more worrying. The AP bit is ignorable because none of us will ever know what your problem is with him, aside from nicking your pen. As for Barmby, he took us from 8th to 8th, with even less financial support than Pearson got. That's an achievement if you ask me. Great post. I really bloody hope so too, I'm fed up of threads like this all over the board having a go at people like me who don't believe everything the owners say. I'm sure when NB comes out and gives his side, things will calm down a bit.
Convenient or not, it's an honest answer, something went wrong with that deal, I've been unable to find out exactly what, but it was the beginning of the end for AP. Next time I see AP I'll ask him. I'll see if I can get your pen back too.
This is a perfect example of a load of Allam bollocks. How can we sign someone for far more than he is worth without them knowing? Surely being the bosses of the company the owners are approving these deals and should be able to notice if someone is being paid £750k on a deal that should be free apart from wages. I mean if they were overlooking some minor contract clause in the smallprint then fair enough maybe but if they don't even know what we are paying for a player what do they know?
Not necessarily most owners, chairman wouldn't see this area, they would deligate this off to someone. AP dealt with the football side of things, it was clear Ehab wanted more of a say over thinks like this. I doubt they would even be notified of this.
They let the "football people" get on with the football side of things, when they realised they weren't doing a good job they stepped in and sorted it out. I'm not sure what more you want from them. What we should be asking is what our esteemed "Director of Football Operations" was doing criticising the previous regime for overspending and then paying what equates to £14k a week for Dele Ade-****ing-bola. He wasn't interested in saving the club, he was interested in saving his own ego.
yes because its their club . not ours ... no matter what whinging etc you guys do , it will not change thing s... let them do what they want to do becuase if you stress about it .. its pointless
Its not a case of believing or disbelieving you but please give us real proof as to why you are so certain they are lying. Everything up to now has been hearsay evidence.
We should be, if we actually did pay the equivalent of £14k a week for Adebola, but let's be honest, does anyone seriously think we did? I certainly don't.
he wont mate , hes walked away with a cool amount of money and trying for more . come back to me in a week and tell me its not so
With agents fees included, probably. Not gonna lie, I kinda fixed the "numbers" to go with my own argument, but the point stands, we paid too much for a player we had absolutely no need for.
1) The Bullard saga. Which rumours actually occurred? not insurable (despite tweets from paul duffman) ... caost us close to £15m over the years he was here 2) The Duffen saga. What did he try and justify as business expenses? everything and its dog , from a new car for his 60k a year new media assistant (guess who) .. through 3) How much did Adebola cost, and a breakdown of that cost? 9k a week basic wage .. after that I do not know 4) Did the senior players "AVB" Parky due to his training methods? Ash and barmby did .. they basically saw phil out of the job 5) The real reason for Ash requesting a transfer? phil brown offered him captaincy and coaching next year , he did not care for city and still does not .. wake up 6) Anything else that never accurately came to light at the club. *** *** *** ***
Proud Footballer? Hell Yes and he'll always rightly be a proud Hull City legend, but Nick made a massive mistake and alienated his employers to make a working relationship impossible. Bunch of Business men? In the sense that business men buy to make a profit, it is completely laughable to class the Allams purchase of Hull City as "business". They obviously intend to make Hull City a good business as football clubs go, but they will never make their money back, let alone a profit. The Allams should be classed as "Philanthropists" as per James Reckitt who whilst running a business wanted to make Hull a better place. Paul Duffen? He never put any of his own money into Hull City as he was just an employee and saw us as a fantastic cash-cow and ego booster.
Honestly TWF who would have thought a nice honest boy like you would fix numbers for the sake of your own argument.
I don't know the ins and outs I'm just asking how it can be that they don't know what they're spending. Do they sign these deals with their eyes closed? And how come it was so very different in January when (whoever you believe about money being made available) they were heavily involved in Nick's budget/non-budget. Firstly who says AP did pay them that? The boss of the company who calls all the shots is Dr Allam. If he doesn't want to the company to pay money in certain areas he doesn't let it happen, simple as. Are you saying he lets others take charge of the important stuff like transfers and doesn't even check what goes in and out of the club's accounts, but he spends all his time getting his hands dirty finding ways to scrimp petty change here and there on things like back-office staff and flights to matches? You think they paid him off?
Dazednconfused, you forgot, the charity donation money that he got paid commission for. The French connection, the sponsorship deal, The wages that he had paid into his offshore pension funded property company. All this whilst only on 100k per year! Sorry that you got it in the neck, but well done.
Ah, dazed. Just the guy who wants to answer all my questions. I thought number 5 was to do with a particular incident down the Aves? Or did someone tell me that one wrong?
i've decided you're going to be the first person on my banned list. you cause board rage. plus i think you're insane but not in a good way.
In PremierTiger's defence, if he's told these things in confidence he's hardly gonna stick it on an internet message board is he? He has to be fair to his source of information and shouting it from the rooftops is not the way to do it.
