The thing most say abouit him is that he doesn't "buy" well in the premier league. This is where he apparently failed at both Burnley and Bournemouth. Hopefully, if we have a decent team in place, we remove that from him and get a proper DoF involved

It's not an option on the poll, but I would like Eddie Howe, who seems to have the right attitude, seems to be very capable of getting the best out of players, and seems to believe in 'proper' football, but it seems like we'll be getting back on the Gus bus

p.s. I was only able to make one choice in the poll (other) . . . . not 2 as stated :emoticon-0112-wonde

Because the salary cap was a hurried process put through by the efl I’m sure there’s legal people out there that can find loopholes in its rules, I’m sure Dreyfus and sartori know “people” that are more than capable of exploiting these.

Agreed. In every sport with a salary cap, there are ways around it.

What are they going to do? Relegate us to the second flight?

No it would be to the National League, so our lawyers must have really water tight ways around the cap or don’t risk it.

The real way is promotion and bonus payments. Problem is there is still not one cup left and we aren’t taking that one seriously. But we could offer large bonus payments for getting to the final plus another promotion payment to any player willing to back themselves

Pinky and Perky are more realistic than the list of names given there.

I personally think that it’ll only be in for this season, like many have said including the pfa it’s against the law and I’m sure arbitration of sport will agree

    I was just being daft.

They wouldn't relegate to the national league for some creative accounting surely?

When they allow City and the likes to do whatever they want?

As you say, there will definitely be stuff we can offer without fully breaking the rules. Just bending them a bit.

I just wouldn't take the chance with Pearson. His mental state is too much of a ticking timebomb to me. It would be like saying you'd fancy marrying Amber Heard, or Heather Locklear.

Sorry but it wouldn't - The answer to the last 2 would be a definite yes - even if it's just for the best 30 seconds (in total) of my life!!

I fully agree and would love to see it. There has to be players willing to take the chance.
Do you think SD knew he was on a winner when he said we would pay Wigan add ons of up to 4 million when Griggs fires us into the Premier

Wagner or Keane surely? Would be great to see Keano come back and finish his job. From memory he did bloody well in getting you up to the PL. Can't remember how he fared in the PL but I doubt that it was as horrendous as the vast majority of your managers' performances!

How does our poll match the real betting? Sounds like Schwartz as DoF and Cowley or Poyet as manager from the Takeover thread as the potential choices

If its Poyet there may not be a DOF, if its Cowley there will
