I don't think that's true. I'm told that the club are pretty confident of getting hold of the KC eventually and that's directly from the club. This is a weird thread, I haven't heard any criticism of the Allams for loan transfers (they don't make the signings anyway). Personally I've been really pissed at some things the Allams have done but I think they're starting to figure things out and appointing an MD was a big step in the right direction. However I don't like all this talk about transfers coming from next year's budget, what club ever reveals details about budgets? That should all be kept in house and I don't like the idea of us having nothing to spend next summer just because we made two loan signings permanent this window.
ISTPLT I think that the message is a little off tangent. The plan has not been that we get promotion this season, if we don't there will not be any massive spend, what we get now will have to do next season.
Smoke and mirrors? Maybe it's out of this year's budget and they don't want other clubs to know what we have to spend. That way if we unfortunately need to spend at this level in the summer we won't be held to ransom.
