Unless Assem or Ehab start posting on here, nobody is going to be able to answer the original question posed, we'll just have to wait for the managerial appointment and see what happens. I do think the manager will get some money to spend, after all that's been said over the past few weeks, they can't really not make funds available now.
The thing is, will they also insist on choosing who the manager spends that money on? If so we will either have a Barmby Mk2 situation or we will have a manager without the balls to manage.
On the weekend I went to a beach and the little snack bar had been broken into and set alight. The owners where struggling to provide a service using a gazzibo and some tressle tables. It just happens that I have a large amount of catering equipment to dispose of and I asked them if they would like some stainless steel work units. I quoted £25 for a unit. They where really grateful at first, but are now suspicious as the price is too low!! Moral: Sometimes you have to believe that there isnt any other motive other than a desire to help. I have waved my fee's and storeage charges, simply because I respect the way that they would not be beaten by the vandals. Now I could see the situation as it was the best weekend weather for ages and the greedy sods would do anything to make money. Moral: There are two sides to every story.
Not been on this Forum for quite a few weeks and only infrequently post comments. I'm afraid,though that the amont of abuse and bile directed at our owners that appears on this Forum is idiotic. I don't know the Allams at all and take eveyone at face value. If they say monies were available in january , then that has to be believed until found to be wrong at some time. Some of the critics on here ought to wait and see ! Could be a damn sight worse ! Open a forum to decide who else should own the club ! ! Bet there'll be few takers, NUFF SAID ! !
I agree with these comments but we shouldn't always look for immediate returns and results ! It takes a very long time to achieve to being a profitable company and here I'm speaking from some experience. Hull City founded in 1904 and at long last hit the big time in 2008 ! !! What does that say for our long gone, Hull City forebears ! Some wait hey ? Have patience with whoever is concerned with running the club and remember where we have been for many years. We now appear to be an established Championship club ! ! Live with that fact and hope for the better---eventually
All we can do is wait and who see is appointed as manager...I can't imagine any manager will come without some assurance of cash to spend.....if it's somone renowed on working with a tight budget...things will become clearer...
