Don't you start! I've already had to take both Stan and Tobes apart.

You couldn't take a lego house apart. You'd need to invent a Cornish demolition man to do it for you.

Hi Guys, Glad you could make todays session.

Lets start off with some interesting quotes from today shall we?

When it comes to delusion there are 3 key factors to look for.

First the dreams and visions start.....

"Hello, Spurs fan here, I'm laughing because I'm having this fantastic dream. You'll laugh too when I tell you that in my dream Spurs are second in the table with just 7 games left and you'll laugh even more when I tell you that we are chasing Leicester for the Premier League Title, yeah I know! The years of supporting Spurs must have finally got to me.
It gets better, the England manager, in my dream, picks a young untried team to face the World Champions (Who else but Germany) and that team includes 4 Spurs players with a 5th on the bench. Dream or not we are 2 goals down inside 55 minutes but then, remember this is my dream, we come back with 2 goals from the young Spurs players and one from, wait for it, a Leicester striker.
This must be pay back for 1970 when in the quarter finals of the World Cup in Mexico West Germany came from 2 goals down to beat England 3 - 2 in extra time. I remember watching that game in disbelief as nobody had scored 3 goals against England's rock solid defence for what seemed like a lifetime.
No! leave me! I'm really enjoying my dream, I'll wake up soon enough and find us struggling in the EL and sacking yet another hopeless manager but until then!
If only life was like that eh!"

    Then the nostalgia......

"Love the piece reminds me of dreams many of us had when spurs introduced "pass and move" in 1949 when all the other teams were giving it wellies down the channels"

"Part of the pride of being a Spurs supporter is how the club were the first to do so many things :
    - Amateur club to win the FA Cup
    - English club in the 20th century to do the domestic double (after a very long gap to the previous occurrence)
    - British club to win a UEFA trophy
    Like a football "pathfinder squadron"

    Then the desperation.......

"We have to hit the ground running at the start of the season and scare the pants off all opposition. Spurs are in the ascendancy and we have to make that count"

"And yes, I have just spent the last 20 minutes watching that clip on a loop. We've honestly got to the stage where we have friends over for a drink and the wife asks me to get the wedding pictures out, and I simply walk into the lounge with an iPad showing a series of stills and slow-motion replays of this goal. 'til death do us part, Dele, 'til death do us part."

As always lads lets respect each other and give everyone time to talk about their feelings in a controlled environment, Again chaps, i am only here to offer a balanced perspective on the delusional debate and help you all through this time.

Haha, i dont fancy our chances tbh, its a bit of who turns up jekyll or hyde with us, should be a good game either way with us both being pressing teams, your lads are probably on a bit of a high after the germany game too, and we will have a few still seething from the saints result.

of course i would love for us to put a dent in your title challenge by taking some points off you, but only really because i see Leicester as the more underdog team out of the two in the race, more than any dislike for spurs as a club despite what @Spurlock thinks *giggle*

i cant lie i am hoping for a fiery game with plenty of "talking points" so there will be plenty of good clean wumderful banter afterwards as usual :)

but as you know old chap its "we will smash you" until the final whistle <laugh>

We will do everything we can to help, not because we like you, but because it will severely aggrevate @Spurlock 's already chronic butthurt infection. LOL

Hey mate fancy you turning up ;) what do you think will occur during the game on saturday? would you say a loss for you and a win for the foxs would be the nail in the coffin so to speak?

lpool win & Leicester win = title over?
    draw v lpool & a Leicester win = still a chance?

i do expect a good fairly even game tbh possibly a draw or 2-1/3-2 to either of us, certainly potential for a few goals at least.

  12. By rights, and on current form, we should utterly crush 'Pool. It should be humiliating fro Klopp and every Mouser (both real and plastic) up and down the land.

That bodes well for Liverpool then. If you crush them the same way you did with Arsenal.

You can't just give up can you? God knows why your interested. There's no trophy at the end for you <laugh> but to be honest, beating us will be like you just won a trophy considering your constant butthurt.

Depends which Spurs turns up....it'll be a cracker and one I won't be enjoying watching as usual when the stakes are high. Chasing 8 points will start to look impossible. Leicester are a good team..but I've watched enough football to know that you can't give up until its mathematically impossible.

Let's be honest...if Liverpool win...I'll abuse you even more.

    If Spurs win...your ****ed <laugh>

I think it will all be a bit frantic. As you say, we both try to play a fast, pressing game.
We have to try and win, so it should be an open game, at least

I would obviously be suffering from an intense amount of butthurt, should we lose. And will need a period of solitude with just my anusol.

its more a catchphrase than a prediction Haig.

my actual prediction was a 2-1/3-2 to either of us, if you hadnt been over on the daily arsenal thread having your naughty little bottom spanked for the last 3 days you wouldve seen that <laugh>

Almost as brave as predicting that Spurs would crush Arsenal whilst taking 6 points off of them this season.

How did that prediction turn out for you in the end HIAG ?

I've got my honorary curly wig, stick on slug, diadora shell suit and 'borrowed' hub cabs ready for the game tomorrow. We're going to nip down to Aldi car park later to rummage through the bins to sort out the party food. :)
