Leave it Saint, before you evoke true scouse emotion out of him, then your toast pal....we won't hear the end of it, printed t-shirts, crying on radio, holding hands, human chains, hunger strikes, the lot.
I suppose maybe you are right spurlock. Had it been at the other I am sure the dippers would have accepted that there was contact and subsequently a clear penalty. They rarely feel hard done by after all.
how shall i put this..... if piskie was superman Haig would be kryptonite, me im like lex luther in all this muhahahaha
I'm just looking for a bit of justice in the game mate. Like how the fans on your board are trying to bring an immediate end to BBC salford's appalling treatment and coverage of Liverpool fc.
I just dont see your point is all, you imply benteke took a dive yet admit there was contact. i think what your gripe may be is that he diddnt have to fall? well im afraid youre going to have to get with the times mate, if theres contact the attacking player has every right to go down. its the way the games played now, not saying i like or condone it, just that you either understand that simple fact or you dont. so.. do you?
A player does not have a right to go down. It's something that is said so often that people believe it's true to try and justify diving. Go down if the contact is enough to make you go down. Don't go down if you're built like a cruiserweight boxer and get a tap on your heel. Contact doesn't mean foul and contact doesn't mean it can't be a dive.
It's really not. If Benteke doesn't grossly exaggerate the tiniest bit of contact nobody thinks twice about it.
We'll just go in circles on this. If a bloke that size is knocked down by that level of contact then he needs to see a doctor.
not sure where youre going with that? watch it again you'll see clear contact which alters bentekes balance, thus the fall
I've seen it enough times and we'll just have to agree to disagree. I'm not saying there's no contact but to say it causes him to fall over is to say Benteke has the strength of my nan (the dead one) IMO.
Your dead nan would have stayed on her feet and taken a shot at goal Watford. God bless her long suffering soul, my friend.
