Ahh so lamela is better than dirk kuyt because your sitting in 4th. Good facts them haigy Still, I wouldn't be counting them 4th place Chickens so early mate your hardly running away with 4th at the moment are ya by your logic you're only 2 losses away from mid table, with half a season to play still
I bet you can't mention anyone who said that. I certainly don't recall anyone saying that Sucky...you try so hard....bless x
I can't be arsed getting quotes from 2 years ago tbh but lamela came with a reputation, he no longer has that reputation since joining you. Dirk also had a good scoring record prior to joining us but turned into a very different player while with us, definitely not the goal scoring player his reputation suggested but an affective player none the less. That's all I'm suggesting, he's your dirk kuyt. That cost 30m (couldn't resist that soz)
The level of WUM attempts in this thread is disappointing. Lamela? He's a ****ing joke. 5 goals in 59 appearances. Kuyt got 51 in 208 BTW.
Bollocks! He may not score many goals, but he's contributed far more to our overall team effort than La-La-na ever has to Pool!..
Have any of Pool's buys from Saints worked out ? They all seem to turn to dross when they go to Anfield.
That's covered by the £25m we got from selling Sturridge, so we got Pato and Vardy for £11m net and Sturridge off the wage book Star #itk FTW
Sturridge! You've got that lame-duck on your books for the duration, sunshine! You couldn't give him away, let alone sell the gammy fcuker!
If you seriously think you'll get £25mill for that crock, you're living in La-la-na land. He's a top striker when fit. But that is increasing less of the time.
'Pool v United Not long for kick-off, now, lads. This mid-table clash between two once-upon-a-time giants of the game still manages to attract a fair amount of interest. In what has to be the greatest meeting of plastics in world football, the media is always there to ramp up the hype and to feed, vulture-like, off the stupidity of the many who continue to claim that we are witnessing a battle between "the two best teams in Europe." It's laughable, yes, but I tend to believe that, these days, most people tune-in in order to see which of the two will play the worst in a game that has, in recent seasons, become little more than a snooze-fest. So, lads! Let's sit back and watch whether LVG's desperate brand of hoof-it-and-see football can over-come 'Pool's for-fooksake-let's-keep-the-ball-away-from-our-comedy-defense brand of desperate attacking football. It could be fascinating (but probably won't be).
