Not that people use in my experience. I can’t remember the last time I was in a car and music was playing through anything other than a phone (or the radio)

Umm no, when I was 15 CDs were all the rage and IPods aswell. However seeing as that was 15 years ago times have moved on and now unless you have some old banger of a car all cars have the function to either plug your phone into them or connect wirelessly

I have an iPod which has in excess of 6000 songs on it. Why would I change to hear spoonfed tripe?

Well it is a common theme amongst the elderly that they don’t like change.

You also don’t seem to understand how Spotify or YouTube work, but by all means stick to your iPod

Nothing to do with age, why would I change just to keep hipsters happy when I have everything at my finger tips?

I don't know anyone that uses CDs these days. I certainly don't know anyone that uses an iPod ffs!! iPods were an early 2000 fad before mobile phones became good.

I still have hundreds of CDs tbf, never use them though!

My phone has all the music I could ever need on it and it's with me the whole time.

    What language you learning, English?

    Cheeky fooker <laugh>

I know a fair bit of Italian, however, you have to use the CD's and other material ie youtube vids to keep hearing it, otherwise it's like a native, you eventually lose or forget it. I did start Spanish recently, to see how similar it was to Italian - because I understand the feminine and masculine the basics appear very similar.

Hard to keep up. I was looking for a CD player a few years back, and a musician friend said to me at the time, make sure you get one with an iPod dock, because the CD will be obsolete soon. I hardly ever used the iPod dock, it won’t fit my iPhone; but I still have hundreds of CDs.

****it, going back to vinyl soon. This guy ‘s going to hook me up...

I'm learning Hindi mate. I've nailed the basics in Arabic, and been learning Hindi for about 6 weeks.

Muslims for Arabic (mainly Syrian guys). An Indian guy helps with Hindi...

When I'm not at work doing the above I use a couple of language apps and YouTube.

Get Duolingo, best free app going. You can buy into it but don't. The free stuff is more than you will ever need for basics.
