    It was the £2,170.31 less £1600 = £970.31 I found a bit confusing Red. Not to worry though.

    Thanks for running the comp Ron and many thanks also to those who've posted up their congratulations. To be honest though I really fancied NC for the national it was circumstances of a busy weekend and thus limited access to t'interweb that dictated that I put all my remaining funds on the old boy. Well done Ron also for picking him out.
