    Occasionally, once or twice a year, I get gout which makes it very painful to walk on one foot for a while. Usually subsides within two days.
    I don't drink so much these days but apparently weight-loss can be a factor and even tuna* which I eat every lunchtime.

    *The fish, not our ex token bird.

    Sometimes if I am walking down a dark alley late at night I get this sense of terrible foreboding, as if any minute now there is going to be an horrific attack. I wonder if the women I am following feel the same? It would explain the pepper spray anyway.
