That ref has probably been booked for our game on Saturday. Absolutely shocking.

Now Wales get sh1t refs as well.

Didn’t watch your game lads but if you think your ref was bad you should have seen the clown who did the Northern Ireland v Germany game. And the one v Slovakia wasn’t much better. These are big qualification games for the World Cup and we all deserve better.

There appeared to be a definite bias towards Belgium in terms of fouls and cards given.
Also as to when he stopped a game for an 'injury'. I put that in quotes as he stopped the game for a Belgian player rolling on the floor holding his face after the hand of one of our players had brushed his chest.

I can't believe I'm starting to see "Bellamy out" starting to be murmured around social media <doh>

So many clueless Muppets with short term memories around, talking about our losing streak and the number of goals conceded etc.
Unless I'm living in some parallel universe, I'm pretty sure we've only lost 2 games of note, both to Belgium and both of which could have gone either way on another day!!

I've even seen some "fans" starting to say we need to set up more like Rob Page used to and being more pragmatic, just to make us tighter at the back.

Who the hell do these supposed fans think we are, saying stuff like "it's only an average Belgium team" and expecting us to consistently win games like that???

Modern fans do my head in... Honestly :headbang:

Bellamy said post match he told the fans via the media he would play a high press style and not be ultra defensive. The point you allude to has its base in some fans not understanding football.

dilemma for tea time Saturday… not for me by the way, but for the landlord in our boozer. The pub is always full of biddies (shouting c’mon Shane) every time the egg chasers play on a Saturday. Our corner will be fighting for one of the 4 large screens to have the footie on but there will be no chance of commentary as we’ll be having Jiffy full on through the speakers. Is it best to go home with an early kebab rather than put up with the pundits in their rugby tops drinking their pints of mild? <cheers>

That's egg chasers for you BTtC.

Like the Jethro Tull track, Living in the Past.

As does Ampadu<doh>

It wasn’t a foul but why was one of our integral players still on the pitch? Bellamy mentioned the yellow card issue pre game yet he kept him on.

Mark Harris puts in effort, like he did for Cardiff. However, he can’t get in a poor Oxford team and he doesn’t quite cut it….and his hairstylist wants fugging!

Job kinda done tonight.

Should have been more comfortable TBH but fair play to Lichtenstein, they stuck at it very well.

Thought Rubin's brief showing was decent enough.

BIG game Tuesday night now, and not an easy one by any stretch.

Bellamy has a selection headache with suspensions and injuries but at least Wilson will be available (I hope that’s the reason he didn’t play tonight).
