2 loans that have been just about perfect, and one other that assisted with a wicked header. I'd have all three, if the latter could stay fit.
Dubravka I think will be here. He is an excellent signing. He has made a massive difference to the defence along with Dummett coming back. Kenedy I have a funny feeling we will sign. Its a long shot but I think he is enjoying playing. I don't think he will want to warm the bench at a big club regardless of money. He is brazilian, he wants to play football. Slimani - I think it will depend on him staying fit and Leicester being reasonable about a fee for a player of his age. He is well suited to our tactics thats for sure. I like him. Very unselfish and does a lot more than provide a goal threat.
Mentioned it last week but got ignored,PSG and Bayern monitoring Kenedy's progress and in touch with Chelsea,if you want a healthy forum don't ignore other posters and I asked was he near the Brazil squad, blanked there as well, friend asked me to post.
Before he came here, he just wasn't playing. But even with the plaudits he's getting now in our corner of the England, will Brazil even consider or scout him?
Saw that too - but if he goes to either, he will probably be in the same position he was at Chelsea - odd games and sub appearances. If the lad has anything about him he'll want to be playing regular 1st team games which we can offer Plus there's the Rafa Factor....
Not really. He's miles from any of them. The three lads at Man City are probably the closest to him, but most of the rest are ****ing miles away!
We'll need to hope he has some serious love for the club, and even then it's doubtful we will be able to compete. Never say never though!
Agree and post before, are we paying full wages? Guardian on Saturday said more he shines for us the less chance we can keep him which sadly is true. BTW safe now but there is two games I would love to win, Everton and Spurs both away,Fat Sam not even in my thoughts but can't remember last time beating Everton, would take that and could live with losing in Wembley.
No idea if we are paying his full wages, but I'd be really surprised if we were. The club needs to let Rafa decide how important he is to us and also be flexible with their financial model. If Rafa wants him then wages should be part of the budget he has and not down to some preset formula. It will then be down to Rafa to decide whether he is worth the wages, and whether Rafa can handle the team dynamics of one player being on much higher wages. Think the last time we won at Everton was when Ben Arfa scored and we won 1-0 in our first year back in the Premier after our previous relegation.
Think I posted previously that we are probably paying full wages as we are definitely paying a loan fee. Would be odd to structure a deal with a loan fee if you are not also paying full wages.
I love how he just charged through the middle of their players to make that header. He looked mint when he came on at the weekend. Really really hope we can sign Kenedy. I think he does really like it here which might help and he is guaranteed games. Rafa might be able to convince him.
Trouble is Rafa and Kenedy will only get a say in it if we can match Chelsea’s asking price and the salary other teans are prepared to offer.
Direct quote from the man himself this week: ‘I am enjoying my time at Newcastle, but obviously I have a contract at Chelsea. If something occurs then I will be more than happy, it is a good place for me. I like it.’ Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...portsmail-loving-Newcastle.html#ixzz5D9r4ouYd Follow us: @MailOnline on Twitter | DailyMail on Facebook
