I think it’s worth remembering that 97% (yes that high) of academy players never make it to play at high level football. So if he thinks championship is his level and he can play and improve that’s up to him. Can’t have it both ways, i.e. he’s disloyal because we have injuries (when he’s actually 3rd choice behind Dallas and a player that isn’t deemed good enough to play in his actual position in midfield) and then complain about the players like De Bock, Murphy et al, who won’t / wouldn’t leave to “play football” because their wages are too big here. Only supporters are loyal to a club, not players or clubs to players that don’t meet the grade.
