Can he really be getting paid that much more? After just beginning to get excited by the season this one bites.

It's pure jealousy. Others have got away and got more money, so he wants to as well. You never know, karma might pay all the want-aways a visit in the future.

He's probably increased his income by close to 50%.

No idea on the figures so just using these as an example.

Say he was on 50k per week with us last season.

Relegation reduces it to 25k per week.

Bournemouth say come to us on loan for a year and we will pay you 35k per week, that's a 40% pay rise.

Does he care what happens to Bournemouth probably not much.

If they go down and he returns to us and we haven't got promoted then returns to his 25k per week, having earnt an extra 500k this season by going on loan. If we do go up then he's back to earning 50k per week, but having lost out on his promotion bonus with us.

If Bournemouth stay up and try to sign him then his starting figure for negotiations is more than the 50k than he would get returning to us

If I was a footballer playing for anyone other than Leeds, then if I have the opportunity I'm following the money.

His promotion bonus with us, is probably say double his salary, so he is giving up the potential to earn 1.4m with us for a guaranteed 500k extra with Bournemouth.

Maybe Sini posts on this board as Emu, and thus isn't too enamoured with our defence and thinks we may struggle to go up, so is happy to take the chance on losing a potential to earn 900k more with us :)

Fairly decent window bar losing Adams and Sini but still annoying we have no proper LB however Byram and Shackleton have both looked good there and no CAM so let’s hope Rutter doesn’t get injured as no idea who we’d stick there. Possibly Gnoto? Let’s hope Gnoto and Summerville can do well in this league. Bar Piroe a very young forward line.

think the salary cut at Leeds is 60% - which is a bigger cut than pretty much anyone else puts in. The loan deal clause means someone else pays their Leeds (PL) wages plus anything else they can negotiate. Leeds are not big payers by prem standards so in all likelihood they are minimum more than doubling their money - possibly much more.

They’re not Leeds fans. In their shoes we’d all do the same. I presume, for the ones we really wanted to keep, we’d have tried to negotiate an improved package for… but obviously we never offered enough and also can’t match the lure of a top flight league.

Firpo has never looked good, not even for half an hour, so it’s an improvement <laugh> <whistle>

Farke says he rates Firpo highly.

How the **** does he know, the **** hasn't laced his boots up this season yet. He's in for a shock that first game Junior comes back. January we'll be back on the hunt for a ****ing left footed ****ing left back.

    Farke Off!

He likes attacking fullbacks… even though he seems to like this attacking right back (which Spence is perfect for) and inverted left back.

Firpo’s good going forward he’s just sh*t defensively.

Not sure Farke cares. He likes his fullbacks to play - his sides leak goals, quite a lot for the possession they have. For those who criticised bielsa for how open to the counter we were… and who criticised Marsch for gaps in behind the fullbacks - expect more of the same defensively.

At least it’s possession based though so much better to have watch than Marsch. If it even comes close to what Bielsa achieved we’ll all be pleased.

the squad is definitely in the top 2 or 3 in the champ.. so you would hope that even an average manager would have us in the mix

Summerville asked about interest from Newcastle, he said he wants to remain at Leeds and win promotion. Farke has told the board Summerville needs to remain at all cost.

Wagner the LB is now a free agent

That doesn’t fill me with confidence in Wagner’s ability.

Polish International Keeper Bartomej Dragowski former teammate of Ampadu in Italy. Another transfer story not making sense unless we are losing Meslier or Klaessen.

He refused a new contract, MLS season runs different schedule to here so he became a free agent from the 31st December
