I thought the same. If the Paintsil rumours are true, surely it means, at least one of, Sinisterra or Gnonto have been promised a move before the window closes.
Yeah, it is a weird one if we got him in. We're pretty much covered out wide unless a couple move on. Unless Farke sees him as a 10 and this Amiri fella plays in Archie Grays position to give him a rest.
Strong hunch (unfortunately) is that Sinisterra has promised to give his all tomorrow but that he knows he can go if we get a suitable replacement in.

Said something similar. I assumed he was back up for sini/Gnonto leaving. If we still buy him gut us one of sini/Gnonto/jimmy will still go and sini would be favourite. From the extensive 2 minute YouTube research I conducted on paintsil - wherever he CAN play… he looks an out and out winger to me.

Amiri is the one I was hesitant with. Didn't know him, never heard of him and when you look at his career it doesn't exactly fill you with confidence that he is the playmaker we need. He looked more like someone to play alongside Ampadu to me and I'd rather have O'Brien tbh. Oh well.
