One is the crumbling hub of a once great empire, now sadly clinging to it's former glories like an old tart whose tits headed south a decade ago. The other is a windswept bog, full of ginger drunks singing tragic songs about pointless heroes. Don't think either will be troubling the Chinese much as the 21st century gathers steam.
