Golf on now. Remember Rose taking gold in Brazil…well deserved. Found McIlroy annoying….swapped to ROI and then let them down by refusing to go. I know there was the zika (sp) issue, but all the other athletes decided to go.
BBC shows about 5 minutes of golf then wanders off for some punditry. Would be happy to have golf on in the background today.

GB best France 2-1 in the hockey. Some of the rules remain an absolute mystery to me, but was quite exciting all the same.
Yeah, I was watching while a little puzzled. I had to google what a green card was for example.
Think the punishment is you have to live in the U.S.
I played hockey for 5 years…all I remember is mud, cold, pain and smelly socks. Modern hockey looks like hockey for wimps (joking). I never learnt the rules, but pretty sure they’ve added some more since then.
When I was in the 6th form a group of us cocky lads got a team together and challenged the girls’ First XI to a game of hockey. Big mistake, we didn’t realise that the sticks were offensive weapons in the hands of experts. I ended up bruised from head to foot, and the score was a complete humiliation.
