Just looking to see if I can sign up to Valencia TV or something, must be something I can subscribe to.
Frying up some leftover roast potatoes, sprouts and gammon then think I’ll grate some manchego over it and add a bit of hot sauce. More updates as I get them.
Well, it's definitely over. CBA to switch the tree on this morning, but did do. Just the cheeses to get through. Dry till NYE, and the dry weeks until Feb. Can't be totally dry as got some fine reds still sitting in the garage. Loads actually.
It’s not over till I’m back at work. Which happens to be New Years Eve, meaning I’ll be home in bed before midnight on my least favourite night of the year.
I basically have very little work until around Easter, which might sound idyllic but it also means very little income until around then. Wholesale and web stuff will tick over until then, and I plan this year to ramp up the online side of things, so I'll spend Jan and Feb building a new website and trying to get my head around selling on Insta, Esty and Tik Tok. The plus side is that it gives me loads of time to get out on the bike, go surfing and stay active.
Nephew's 21st on New Year's Eve (yes it is his birthday) at a local Rugby Club in Herefordshire... what could possibly go wrong?
Too ****in right mate. And I plan to enjoy it. Worked myself half to death during Nov and Dec. Will be a good time to reshape the business a bit, last year was ****ing hard work and I mean physical grafting doing loads of events as well as a couple of regular gig things that I do. I'd like to get a better balance between online selling and being out in the 'field' so to speak.
New Year's Eve is ****e. For going out at least. Decades of over played forced fun and excitement has pretty much killed it off. Cba to do anything really, but got the usual parents of our middle 'un and their kids coming round to us this year, so don't have to even walk/taxi anywhere. Pulled pork, ham, chicken kabob type stuff, burgers for the kids. Plenty booze. Decs down NYD then.
