Always was a cold this, it's nothing like covid. Just straight forward sneezing, bunged up nose, sore throat.

Might just stay in today now that it's all quiet. Outlaws have left, my daughter has gone to the horse racing (**** that in this weather), the youngest is just sleeping then watching films until late, the oldest will go to his girlfriend's. Loads of drink left. Food looking good, got some nice cheese, salami, smoked salmon. Will see how I feel but think it's a day in.
Going to take the dog out now. Will come back, dry off, and browse the sales. Which will be **** no doubt. Put some sport on later and light the firebox.

Cold status has been elevated from stinking to filthy. My Mum now in flap mode due to the 'travel chas' narrative curtesy of the BBC, even though that appears to be mainly Scotland. Possibly won't travel, which might not be a bad thing considering how ****e the weather is forecast to be. Could do with a hot toddy but day off the booze so bad timing really.
