    Way too harsh to say we bottled it. We gave the team who will probably go on and win the tournament not only a game but a fright too. The luck of the draw we played the best team in the quarters.

    Yes the ref was ****, but dealing with that is part of winning a world cup. They gave it a shot and can hold their heads high in my opinion.

    He’ll get a new contract and we’ll do the same at the Euros.

    Pope would have saved the goal and Wilson would have scored both pens.

    But Southgate isn’t interested in players on form. Despite saying the opposition when he got the gig.
