Yes, good article which again highlights the team focus and how well the new players have fitted into that. He also highlights how DF has experimented with different formations in preparation for the PL campaign. In his earlier article he set out five pointers from the German tour, one of which was also focused on the various formations used:

"One of the noticeable features of City's three-game tour was the experimentation by Farke in both personnel and more pertinently formations. Norwich slipped between two deeper lying midfielders in the opening stages against Schalke 04 to a three-pronged attacking force before finishing with a defensive three and two wing backs in Max Aarons and Sam Byram. There was also a willingness to accept that out of possession they could still carry a major threat on the counter with the pace of Teemu Pukki and the cunning of Marco Stiepermann and Patrick Roberts in possession. Such flexibility surely broadens the capability of Farke's Canaries to respond to different opponents and difficult spells even within top flight games."

That suggests that the approach will be more varied to deal with the complex challenges this season will present. In that back three against Schaulke late on, Aarons was later relieved by Heise who assumed the WB role along with Byram. Both players are capable of playing WL and WR respectively, so playing as WBs suits them, as it does Aarons and Lewis. That Lewis played at CB during the tour wasn't surprising when Hanley was the only CB available, but even when Godfrey was back Lewis still played CB in a back three. That gives DF a lot more options to counter PL challenges throughout the season.

It's good to see Teemu in such good form going into the new season:

"After a glorious debut season with the Canaries which featured 30 goals, promotion and a host of awards, the 29-year-old added three further goals for Finland during two Euro 2020 qualifying wins in early June.

Two goals against Bosnia and another against Liechtenstein took last season's total to a hugely impressive 36 goals in 56 matches for club and country, during an off-season in which Pukki also got married and signed a new City contract."

Add the two goals in pre-season and he looks set to go for the PL. It's the regular scoring for Finland which makes me feel he'll have few problems moving up to the PL. He's such a positive player and person as well and getting married over the summer seems to have increased that. The addition of Drmic and Roberts will also provide more options around Pukki which should increase our effectiveness overall.

Well, it's certainly interesting and I'd be more than willing for that to happen. He knows the promoted teams well and obviously doesn't subscribe to the usual pundit prejudices. I have an optimistic feeling that we could have a Leicester sort of season and end up around mid-table.

DF is a cunning manager and a good motivator, we've kept a winning team together and strengthened it with four quality players, which adds more options tactically. Why not!

Likewise....tried to log on at 9am. Placed in a queue for 50 mins. When I got onto the site, Newcastle game sold out. I fear this is going to happen every game I try and get a ticket for. I can't justify a Season Ticket as can't get to enough games but have been a member for many, many years and a supporter for over 45 years. I knew it was going to be more difficult this year - just hope my £50 membership proves worth it in the end !

I think the answer is to try logging on about 8.45, as your session lasts 30 minutes. I wonder if after we lose a few games, demand will ease.
    Good Luck for future games.

Got this Seasons home top this afternoon. Got a large. It fits fine. I don't think it's any tighter fit than other seasons. It looks great. Especially without the Green shorts.

I said my the missus the other week when the Women's World cup was on, with the American player who is openly gay, about how amazing, and massive it would be for a Men's player to come out. But said I wont happen for years yet, if ever.

Imagine if weeks later, a Norwich player, in the Premiership, came out as gay. Ground breaking.

The location say Great Yarmouth, don't know why a Norwich player would live there.
