Whatever transfer fees received is irrelevant as no money goes on recruitment anyway.

So we've progressed from downgrading for cash, to just downgrading.

Don't want to prejudge Holy, but this focus on GKs this window seems mistimed.

The only logic I can pull is that Bart has a Stormer in the championship for Millwall, keeps his value high. Then next summer we either get him back for our return to the championship or cash in if we're still in L1, and either way his wages are off the books... ?

I'm baffled when people say things like this. Even the likes of Liverpool and Man City need to keep strengthening.

With the recent additions we do now have a decent option for League One level in every position, but we don't have strength in depth and we lack real quality in the majority of positions. Garbutt is not even our player.

This lad from Aberdeen is exactly the kind of signing we need to be making in order to develop and own our players and start building a team now that 16 months on from McCarthy's departure we have the foundation for a football team in place again.

Not sure why we would be after another forward when we have already signed Keane. Woul much rather we sign a decent solid Centre Back to partner and guide the Wolf.

So we've finally off laded Emmanuel, to Bolton.
Always tried, but ultimately was not good enough for us. Wish him all the best, and hopefully does the business for Bolton (along with Murphy who I see they've also signed on a free)

Glad we played Bolton when we did. They’ve signed 9 players today including Murphy who should be a real handful at this level

Emmanuel was always a headless chicken for us. He seemed to be a rabbit in the headlights whenever he got first team action. We never saw what he might be capable of. Good luck to him, it's going to be another tough season for him at Bolton.

I personally think Emmanuel should be a CB. It was time for him to move on and I wish him luck with his new club.
