Can’t believe how bad we were in morning 4 balls session. Over par! Unbelievable really. And then USA shoot themselves in the foot several times in the afternoon to pass back the initiative. Great play by Europe tho. Great theatre. Roll on tomorrow.

    Just watched the highlights.
That shot by McIlroy, ball well below his feet and almost in the water. Wow, just wow.

I just watched the highlights too, McIlroy and Poulter are such a good pairing, as are Fleetwood and Molinari.

Apart from that, I can’t believe Peter Allis is still commentating at the age of 87!

Garcia within half a point of Faldo’s total, while Fleetwood’s 3 in 3 equals Garcia’s rookie record.

If Poults and Rahm can halve their game, over the last two holes, that could be morale sapping to the Americans, ahead of the afternoon session.

Sadly not, but still 8-4 to Europe going into the foursomes, which is a hell of a cushion.

Didn't we have a nice lead like that once before and then could hardly win a singles match.

The USA will always be strong in the singles, even more than usual this year. We could do with getting a few more points this afternoon really.

Order of play tomorrow, with Europe needing just 4 and a half points to win the Ryder Cup:

I fancy Fleetwood, Garcia, and Molinari to continue their magical tournament, with at least one other winner and a few halves to take the Cup. The Americans will come out fighting though!

I kind of want the US to win the first few pairings to make things interesting.

If Europe win, perhaps the team can stay behind Monday and have a hungover round, with The Brits versus the rest of Europe. Brits win, Brexit happens. Euros wins, Brexit stops.

Probably better than all the bollox we’ve had elsewhere on it.

Ryder Cup brewing nicely. Nice lot of blue on the board, but all close....anything could happen.
