I thought ex-F1 drivers were automatically deemed good enough, so don't need points. So I don't know whether Webber, Buemi, Montoya, etc are on the list simply because they've earned some points, even if they're irrelevant to them being able to drive in F1. Kubica just needed to pass the FIA cockpit escape test, and do 300 km testing.
Can't be the full list of drivers then that was published. Seems odd that there are some ex-F1 drivers on there but not others. Some far more recent than Kubica as well.
Not sure what Palmer was doing there. At least Verstappen has had his regular collision out the way this weekend.
I can only assume that because the other engine didn't actually break , they are well within the rules ? Ignore that . Brundle saying it's because they have not changed more than 4 of anything .
