I wonder how long Saints are going to go on selling on big fees?
And buying much cheaper replacements?
As much as I'm aware of how far we've come in such a sort space of time and where we were,I'm not sure the policy sell big and buy cheaper options will last long?
As we say long season, see where we are after 10 games, that's the guide I use.
I hope not.; that would represent a transfer window disasterI fear you are going to be very disappointed. VVD if anyone is coming in and that is your lot. Apparently Claise and Bertrand are going to turn this mess around after returning from injury. Presumably their long punts up field are better than Caulkers et al.
Read somewhere at present we are -£7.5 spend.
Hope the wallet comes out soon.
Jesus christ you lot like a moan![]()
Time is running out....I suspect that we will get no one else in (apart from VVD, please) unless someone unexpectedly becomes free. Anything else would take too long.
Unlikely to maintain our top ten status unless we do something fairly soon.Transfer fee smansfer fee. Total player salary is the important figure. On that we are in the right place.
I'm almost certain - in my waters - we will be buying at least one more on top of VVD. Something good has to come out of this Euro debacle. I suspect something just has to give at another club to give us the opportunity we want.
Yes - all conjecture.

It's OK having a very low wage if you can stay in the Premiership but after seven games I am getting a little concerned about what I am seeing
9-13 is my prediction.I didn't think we'd finish top 10 this year anyway, prior to a ball being kicked. This is the year that fans need to be patient and understanding. I fear they won't be though and I've been saying that since May.
And that's not anyone's fault. To finish higher would mean spending a disproportionate amount of money (and I'm not even sure who on), or having a big/expensive squad that would damage us in the long run. I know most people are upset over Europe, but if we finish around 12th and players like Targett, Rodriguez, JWP make solid improvements, then that's a good season.I didn't think we'd finish top 10 this year anyway, prior to a ball being kicked.
