Was it against Leicester when he got that hat trick? I think it was his 2nd goal where he took a shot which was going well off target, took a lucky deflection and went in.

Of course, the dubious goals panel (or w/e they're called) didn't take that off him.

I think it was that game. B'stards!

Guess I'm the only one who thinks that Kane is legitimately quite good, heh.

Not convinced. Too small to be a big man, too big to be a small man. Too slow to really get in behind defenses, and looks for the pass rather than running at players. Good in front of goal to be sure, but the lad has also had some luck. Young, solid investment, but no world beater = 20 mil. He'll have a bad streak soon enough and I don't know if his head is far enough up his arse to see him through it.

His work rate and attitude from what I've seen are second to none. His first touch and vision are exceptional, as is his reading of the game. It's not all about pace. He seems to have the knack of being there just in front of the defenders every time, like ruud van Nistelrooy. I think you're under rating him and he will prove you wrong - but I am excited for England's sake to see how he does develop

The big man/small man dichotomy died some time ago. He can create space while having the strength to hold off defenders; that combination is not a negative.

A striker who is a willing passer isn't a bad thing to me. And Kane gets behind defenses on a pretty regular basis; not constantly, but that owes in part to the fact that he drops back to build up play.

Good in front of goal to be sure, but the lad has also had some luck.

Good in front of goal, good from 20 yards and in, and he has a preternatural ability to create shooting angles. Luck or no, that's not going away, and a striker who can work a step and open up enough space to find a corner will find a lot of goals over time.

I think Kane is quite decent, but he's overrated because he's English, and then you will pay another surcharge on top of that for him being homegrown.

For 25-30m, sure. But they are throwing around prices like 40, 45 or 50+. No way would I pay that much for him.

This Gzregorz Kyrgxkfirjsc... Does anyone know much about him? The only sevilla game I've watched this season is the Europa league final

He's been class all year for Sevilla, probably one of the best defence midfielders in the league. Not as good as Schneiderlin on the ball but defensively better.

Sounds like a dream replacement for when Morgan heads off then. My best mate is the lead writer for bleacher report, so I asked his opinion and he said "he's quality, I've watched him live and he's really great."

Let's hope it pans out (although I have this one chalked up in the '''media fantasy" column)

Believe he was voted into the Spanish Players team of the year. Really excellent player, not as silky as Morgan but probably reads the game better

Sevilla bought this Krychowiak only last year from Bordeaux, but basically from Reims where he played two years on loan. They bought him for about 4 milion euros, which is next to nothing. Now if we want him we have to pay four or five times as much. I think we should do what Sevilla does, find good player before they prove themselves on a higher level, and their price skyrockets. We need to cut the middleman.

At first it seems like a ridiculous argument, but I've mentioned this before, and I do think it has some merit. I personally think exotic nationalities and names do go a little way in making a player seem more appealing to the fan base. I simply can't understand why people don't rate Austin. He took the absolute piss last season playing for a crap team. I'm a little inclined to believe that had QPR bought him from River Plate or Sampdoria, and his name been a bit more mental, people would have been far more excited about him. Look at the fee Everton paid for Lukaku!! And as soon Benteke scores in 4 or 5 games, people dismiss the half a season where he didn't score at all, and suggest he is good enough for Real Madrid etc...

Sorry FLT, wasn't meant at you, more just a general rant thing...

Would tend to agree, but the Harry Kane Mania of this season would suggest thats not all entirely true.

As for Juanmi, i've never seen him play, but he is available for half the price of Austin is only 22 and has broke into the Spanish national side which currently has a little more prestige than our national side. Jamie ****ing Vardy

If Jay Rods knee holds, then Striker is also a position where we can afford to gamble a little. Where as centre back & centre midfield need to be players who can hit the ground running as first choice and where the majority of the Schneiderlin loot should be spent.

For me in many ways he is better then Morgan. He would obviously have to prove himself in the Prem. But I will be surprised if we get him.

I can still see us getting another striker. Juanmi isn't a out and out striker.
