    I really think this is a cracking renewal. One of the most competitive in a while. Certainly makes up for a lack lustre Derby.

    Nothing being mentioned here or anywhere else about the 5 million Guineas purchase Al Naamah who's been brought across the channel by Andre Fabre. She's had just the 3 runs to date and I guess has done ok. She had a nice win first up in a 21k Euro maiden before putting in a shocker last Sept in a G3 event over the mile when a 4-7 chance. She reappeared about 3 weeks ago in the 10f G3 Cleopatre where she was just nutted on the line. I suppose they are in town to try and stick some substance to the massive outlay, so maybe she can sneak under the radar. She has her work cut out against what looks a pretty hot field, but would they throw her into battle if they thought she'd put in a shocker? And if nothing else, she certainly has breeding on her side.

    Yes looks a good Oaks. 5 or 6 could conceivably win this. I stay with Legatissimo.
