I figure on a football mforum I'm entitled to label an opinion stupid if I think it's stupid. You can have your (stupid) opinion if you want but I'm perfectly entitled to say it's stupid if that's what I think, which I do. If you don't want people responding to your posts with their genuine view then don't post.

 

You're entitled to say what you like, but when you imply I'm not respectful of your opinion when you show none then you're behaving very strangely.

The fact remains that you don't like my opinion and that's fine , but I just don't care enough about your opinion to call it arrogant, ignorant and short sighted.... it doesn't strengthen or change my opinion.

You laugh but again it's you taking issue with my opinion not the other way around. I just don't care what yours is tbh.

Chelsea are a good team.

 

I remember saying this time last season that Chelsea had turned a corner and would finish above Newcastle and go on from there and being laughed at.

It's highly unlikely Newcastle will get anywhere near the big clubs again any time soon. Myself and a few others knew that we simply had a good season in a season where Liverpool Tottenham Chelsea and Man United had bad one.

It was all a big coincidence basically and everything simply aligned for Newcastle, but here we are with the reality of the challenge upon us.

The top 4 is settled I think.

 

The numbers are going to grow faster for the ones already making more. The rest are not allowed to try and compete and if they do they are to be punished.

It will and you’re right. That was 2023.

But the other clubs will grow their revenue maybe aswell. Unless they have maxed it out.

 

Their development curve is shallower than ours due to the differing starting points.

The key for us to kick on is a new stadium. That will be the game changer due to all the extra corporate revenue and sponsorship which will roll in.

 

Seems reasonable it’s just hard (for some) to balance the long term plan and what’s needed with short term kicks in the bollocks like West Ham.
