Well done DA. £400 profit. That's it for the day Balance: Plan A. Betting Bank £15,455: Piggy Bank £0 Plan B. Betting Bank £9,880: Piggy Bank £5,575
Some 2yos I'll be looking at later in the week. All risky given the number of runners and newcomers/once-raced but might be an ew shot there somewhere. On Friday at Newmarket 14.10 Annie's Fortune, a Montjeux filly. 5th of 12 on début when ridden by Fallon who takes the ride again. And on Saturday at Doncaster 14.40 Open Letter, a New Approach filly who finished 6th just behind Annie's Fortune on début. at Newcastle 18.45 Momalorka, Duth Art filly 5th of 15 on début at Newmarket 13.45 Club House , Marju colt, 5th of 11 on début to Mister Marc (2nd to Dawn Approach today) and Jontleman, Whipper colt 5th of 13 on début Will take a closer look on the evening prior to racing.
With 2 bookies offering 5/1 Jungle Beat in the 16.30 Newmarket tomorrow, I think it's worth risking £100ew. Can't see the price getting any higher and I expect him to finish in the first 3.
Annie's Fortune is in the 13.40, not as stated. But, with 8 of the 10 runners making their début, I'll give her a miss at 7/1.
15:45 ASCOT, 23 JUN 2012 Diamond Jubilee Stakes Black Caviar £900 win at 4/9 (general) - missed the 1/2
Just what I feared. Backed into 4/1 on the day but just before the off it shot out to 6/1 with the fav hardening to 13/8. Fav won like a good'un but Jungle Beat ran a stinker and was presumably expected. Don't know what caused that sudden loss of confidence. The advantage of betting just before the off I suppose but can't have it all ways. £200 loss there and never any hope.

Salisbury tomorrow. Just putting markers for 2 youngsters to look at later (no prices available at present). Would want at least 5/1 the pair. 14.00 Jontleman 14.30 Momalorka
Just checked the odds: Jontleman best priced 11/4, Momalorka best priced 3/1. Will have to let these go.
