A little bit of money around for that Rawaaq Ron! Youve drawn my attention to this and i'm a little bit interested myself now..might wait and see how the market plays out i think 4s probably will be the top end price.
Looks to have form way above the rest Ardent. I was surprised to see those odds to be honest; thought it would be favourite. Timeform seem to like Harasiya and also prefer True Verdict to mine.
Leopardstown 18.45 Rawaaq at 4/1 Drifted to 11/2 Held up in rear, progress when not clear run early in straight, never on terms. Wouldn't have won. The winner clearly useful. Lost £100 Balances Betting Bank £2,510 Piggy Bank £14,388
Just as well I laid off some of it. That looked a decent book on that race. However, never looked like winning (or placing). Net loss £100.
Can't be confident at Ascot but will just have small wagers for interest when watching on TV Ascot 15.55 Lightning Cloud £20 win SP 16.35 Sea Moon £20 win SP Ripon 15.40 Guarantee 11/8 WH & BS £800 win
so you've invested 7630 to return over 15k. That's a massive return over investment. Don't think I've seen any better on the forum. Many on the forum get an odd big priced winner amongst many many losers. This is a consistant return as good as I've seen. In perspective if your pro and bet 250K in the same period on these selections you've doubled that. Excellent!
Thanks Ardent. As I'm showing a decent profit in the Piggy Bank I'm going to go speculative tomorrow so my overall return could take a hit. Ascot 16.00 Eshtibaak 4/1 gen £1,000 win Curragh 15.20 Great Heavens 15/8 gen £800 win £100 win double at those odds If these both lose that will be almost the end of the experiment.
How do you work that out Ardent. I've staked £19,080 (net of lays). £7,630 were losing bets. The other £11,450 has returned £26,938, or a profit of £15,488 which is in the Piggy Bank. If I lose the remaining Betting Bank I will have ended up with £15,488 (ie a profit of £5,488 or 54.88% on the original bank of £10,000).
