I am completely shocked by this thread, I really am.

She may have been a Bitch, but she was human. She had choices to make, rightly or wrongly, but she had to do it.

To celebrate her death is just plain sick.
 
she was an enemy to the working class in fact some called her the devils right hand woman (if you can call her that)...she ruined the country especially wales that has still not recovered and is still paying the price to this day......she looked down on the working class aqnd took away our livelyhood while looking after here type of people.
I wont shed a tear as i hated everything she stood for and i find it an insult that the flags in wales are at half mast when they should not fly at all.......there will be many that will dance on her grave with joy but i wont do that as a mark of respect for her family but at the same time i wont aknowlledge any mark of respect the day she is paraded around london and would boo and heckle with the rest if i was there......Why should she have a state funeral??? why is she so special??? the only difference between her and the queens funeral is she dont get to lie in state. for a week.....Bloody state funeral using tax payers money ffs. it will be a joke as you can bet there will be eggs and flour bombs coming from everywhere as the tirant is paraded in a joke last laugh at the people whose lives she ruined..
 
Thatcher was an evil person, who destroyed industrial communities and caused a inordinate amount of misery to the poorest people in the country.She looked after the wealthy and screwed the poor. I am not celebrating her demise, but I am glad she is no longer on this planet, just as I was when the likes of Saddam,Bin Laden died
 
Bullshit bullshit bullshit. Some facts: This woman was re-elected AFTER the miners' dispute. That's democracy. She never murdered anyone. To compare her to Bin Laden or Saddam, both of whom were responsible for the murder of thousands is ludicrous - I almost laughed out loud.

she ruined the country with her lies and deception and uncaring attitude, she was miles behind labour before the Falklands war and she used that to gain popularity, there was no reason to go to war as quick as she did......she killed hundreds of argentinians on the general belgrano by having it sunk when she was told by admiral sandy Woodward that the ship had turned around and was on its way back to Argentina...

I'm glad she is not of this world anymore as she was the worst prim minister of all time and i hope here funeral that will be paraded through London rubbing the working classes nose in a last defiance gets made to look a joke by the people whose lives she ruined......

She was a human being. She wasn't Saddam, Bin Laden, etc etc.

A toned down version is that the woman was a psychopath who did nothing for Wales and the the working classes in other parts of the UK. She had a hatred for us that's for sure and that's why there's so much venom directed at her on this and many other boards.

I have to say that Dai has got it just about spot on with his 1st post above, no need to celebrate anyone's death but to have flags flying half mast is a disgrace and an insult to the Welsh people

Trust me, that is really toned down

She was certainly no human being, she was a grocers daughter that turned against the working class and destroyed the lives of hundreds of thousands of hard working people because of an ideology..

Being really serious here, I would pay to know the opinions of Simon Weston and his brothers in arms. That would be worth far more than any of these politicians I've seen on the news
 
Norway if you think the falklands was to secure oil you have been sadly duped my friend, the falklands was to secure thatcher a second term in 1983, she was on her way out , more regretably our young men paid the ultimate price to secure her another stint in No 10, one day the truth will come out she was pure evil, its a very good day
 
I lost 27 good mates in the falklands war and i was badly injured myself so i know what it was like out there. She and She alone killed personel on both sides for no reason than to boost her own popalarity. She would ignore all the advice given to her by the commanders on the front line and thats why we lost so many good men.....She tried to get us to support her by giving us good pay rises after the war but we hated the bitch and nothing she could say or do would ever change that.....

The fact that people here are dancing at the death of an 87 year old grandmother makes me have an even lower opinion of some of you than I have already - if that's possible.

A boy in my class died in The Falklands. On the Sir Galahad with no air cover - a f*****g disgrace. Working class lads left to die to protect the last embers of the British (Business) Empire.

I studied economics when Thatcher came to power and her policies were very interesting. However she didn't give a flying fuc.k about people and she had no social policy to deal with the economic vandalism she inflicted on this country.

Thirty years on and our country has never recovered.

I am not going to dance on her grave. But I am not going to shed a tear for a woman who destroyed so many peoples lives and so many communities.
 
this is a good day for all the people of GB and Argentina and other country's who have lost family due to her must win Tory ideology of **** you im alright jack attitude....glad she has gone and dont give two figs if they bury her in some field somewhere. I wont lose any sleep thats for sure...
