how does anyone destroy an industry?? the whole country did a great job of that by basically being **** at it. we built **** cars slowly and badly. not suprising really when other countries produced stuff better and cheaper. I agree and have made the point before, if we took the same stance as the forward thinking South African police force the strike would have been over a lot quicker than it was. Many people had to wait far too many years for retail parks and business parks that many of the mines once occupied.
