I'm a newcastle fan and I was gutted when we didn't finish 4th, as I genuinely thought that Bayern would sweep Chelsea aside with not much difficulty.
So to see Chelsea win and 4th miss out on the CL, just honestly gives me a ****load of relief, because to have watched that would have been nothing less than heartbreaking, especially when you consider how long we've been out of Europe.
4th is still 4th and a cracking result. 99% of the time it would have provided Champions League football, but for it not to on this occasion is just harsh beyond words.
Anyway, good luck for the following season and we'll see you in the Europa League. You guys might be gutted but we're all really looking forward to facing some European teams again, irrespective of the tournament it's in.
