I'm starting to wonder if Clement has been coaching the Ospreys and Tandy has been coaching the Swans.....

Everyone of us think we know better than a professional manager who works with the players day in and day out and we think we know the players better than him and his coaching staff ......Errr No we dont and never will........This is a fact and it shows Clem to be a crap manager because he knows the players inside out and we as fans dont know anything about the daily feelings of each and every player........So as far as im concerned with all his inside knowledge and all the information he has at his disposal about every team we play he still cant get his game plan right......Brighton showed us today how to win against the toon where we were awful against them.......Clem is not what we want we need better and more qualified with managing mostly average players who he can make into a team that can play together and not as individuals. We all if you watched the game yesterday saw how Bony was like a fish out of water and that is nothing to do with his skill but more to do that we were playing alien football to him with no game plan. When he was with us last time his team mates could pass the ball accurately as they knew where each of their team mates were without looking a lot of the time......We have no shape the way we are playing the game today and have not for a few seasons and until we change the way we play we are unlikely to win many games...

It's no good going on about Clement, he is what he is, a safe pair of hands, and since the Laudrup sacking saga, our crummy board have just gone with safe cautious managers, and that is reflected in the disappearance of our offensive game, we are a shadow of what we were, and now that we have sold out to money grabbing Yanks, there is no way back, until it hits the fan, it's going to be a slow boring death, you will just have to get used to it, Jinx has ruined the club, it's all about profit, and not about football, to think these bastards still get to sit in the stands after the treachery they dealt the club and trust is a poisoned chalice indeed.

Lets hope the Black attack clicks, at least it will ease the pain of this situation and crap transfer window.

I think Guidolin kept us up and would have had us finishing a respectable place especially if he'd been able to have new players in the January and this year he would have had pretty full pre-season. Curtis helped, of course he did. And he was a big influence in respiring confidence after Bradley and before Clement.
What happened at the end of last season? Injuries forced Clement to move away from his chosen path ... and we had a good run in.

He hasn't improved and the hype of last season was just that. He's been well and truly exposed at this level and has have a very weak start to the season.
MVdH has to be our second CB until Bartley is fit and then we'll see.

Three at the back and two wing backs should offer an incredibly powerful and swift attacking option - we don't have the players to do it neither the wide players nor the ones in midfield who have to be flexibly and read the situation.
Championship and development players might be easy for Clement to deal with but they can't survive in the EPL.
    e.g.
Fulton - Clucas what's the difference?

Just think, we could end up paying Hull £17m for Clucas when we sold a much better player in Cork for only £10m.

Clucas is a £5-£7m player, tops.

I was never a Cork fan but I wouldn't disagree.
Clucas is a Fulton clone IMO and we already have a Fulton.

Think we all could be a little harsh on Clucas, Clement's gutless tactics on Saturday certainly did the lad no favours at all.

But you also can't get away from the fact he's never going to set the world on fire & the fact we paid £16m to know that, is unforgivable. Especially, when they fvck around with £2-3m that stops us clinching a deal on a positional player desperately needed, shocking state of affairs.

Can't disagree with what Phil alludes, in that we're dying a slow painful death as a club..

Not bringing Joe Allen back was gross incompetence by Jenkins, in any other industry he would have been rightly sacked, he would have been the spark our midfield so desperately needs, just hope that Mesa and Carol find their feet and develop the gritty character our midfield is so badly lacking, it would help if Clement edged to a bit more of an offensive strategy, the next 3 or 4 games will define him as a manager, last season is history, as will be Clement if he doesn't start being brave.................<ok>

We are what we are now and there is only one person who can improve us and that is Clem, Do i think he can.......Maybe but i would not put any money on it.....Luckily we dont need a transfer window to change him if we dont improve and start to put a run of wins our way but will Jenkins act early enough and will he employ and pay the money for a proven premiership coach/manager.........It is not how long do we give him it's how long will it take Jenkins to realize we are heading towards the drop.......Hopefully it wont get to that point...
