I can’t understand why anyone would hate him
He obviously has natural talent, but he is also, by all accounts, one of the hardest trainers at any club he’s played at
He puts in the hard work, and unsurprisingly that makes him really good
    Does loads for charity too

I prefer him to pros that could be better, but can’t be arsed because they already earn more than they ever need

I scored a better one on Dane Park one Sunday morning.
Do you think Ronnie woulda nailed his if he'd only go picked up at ten in a morning for an eleven kick off, at a dirty birds house down spring bank, after a bellyful of beer on the satdee night?
    Would he bollocks.

Was just gonna say best I've seen was in sunday league. Just have been last game of the season cos our keeper was having a run out outfield.

30 yard overhead kick flew straight into the top corner.

    God knows!

Mind you that’s only 7 in that video for me. The ones where Rivaldo etc trap it on their chest first shouldn’t count ...FACT

You did not capitalise 'fact' as 'FACT' ... therefore it does not count ...

Has anyone got a video of Gavin Gordon's overhead kick at the North End of Boothferry Park ? I can't remember who it was against but it's stayed in my mind. I thought he was going to be a really good player for us.

    Was in attendance that day.

An unexpected and against the odds victory against a team who were near the top at the time.

    All hail Warren Joyce.

I'm at work and have zero access to a lot of the interweb (but not this site, amazingly), but if you give it a quick search I guarantee you'll find plenty of examples. Before you accuse me of taking a side on a certain argument, you'll find the same of Messi too. Even Fergie said he was a selfish player.

I think he's an incredible player, but come on Den, you're kidding yourself if you think that there's no reason why people shouldn't like him, particularly since he went to the cheating capital of the football world, La Liga.

EDIT: Also, that wink against England back in 06. **** him.

I mean there was one only about a week ago where he swung for the ball, missed and fell over, then screamed and waved at the ref for a foul.

I was never bothered by that wink. Beckham was stupid, end of it for me

I wasn’t suggesting he’d never tried it on to con a ref, I just don’t think he’s any worse than anyone else at that level

My point was I don’t see any need to dislike him anymore than most pro footballers, and I do admire his work ethic so dislike him less than most

Ibras definitely the best as he reacted to Harts pathetic charge out , even if he'd just been a little bit off his line he still would have done him. I don't remember Ronaldinhos but I like that a lot too
