I agree Leonardo. I think we should keep deletions to an absolute minimum.

Absolutely, I'm pleased with leos handling and if mods get trigger happy and start deleting posts it will smack of high handed treatment, this bosard is pretty self regulating and when we go near or over the edge we realise it and self moderate. Save deletions for any serious offensive stuff that hopefully we will not see. A word of caution is also react in haste repent at leisure so in the fuming arena of injustice and medicinal alcohol deletions are probably not a good idea...

I wondered how long it would take before one of the Watford "fans" would play the race card................ You have just proved what a bigoted piece of scum you are, and none of your remarks has no credibility from now on, your manager left for what he regarded as a better job with a bigger club, one of your players who was out of contract was made a better offer than your club made. Your sad, bitter, twisted, racist remarks just show you up for the muppet you are, crawl back under your stone you evil racist idiot.
I think his original remark was errrrrr, alcohol fuelled, I'm half welsh and he was a mate of mine at school many centuries ago!! Every welshman knows Cardiff is not welsh its an independent republic!!!!

Well as Mods you and Norway now have to make your own decision and do not need permission from me. For what it is worth I would NOT delete as they are responding to fair comment and I welcome the debate albeit they are gloating.

Most people here are in favour of free speech and against censorship so if I were you I would only delete if you have pressure from a number of our regualr posters - but as I say you must develop your own styles of modding

Yeah sorry for that Leo, Norway and i discussed it later last night and both decided that there was no need, and we would sleep on it and no doubt things would be ok in the morning. We were both very angry last night, as a result of the news, but also because of the gloating and wum comments by the cardiff fans.

Being a mod is a real responsibility and the efforts of mods are I'm sure greatly appreciated by the masses. However if mods are going to delete posts based on the opinions of a few regular contributors I can see a problem. There is a danger that minority opinion will be suppressed. Surely mods should enforce forum rules. If posts are within the rules but are not worthy of the forum then the rules need adjusting?

I agree - thanks, well put - your comment can stay ....... for now :)

Without wanting to appear to be crawling Blue Prophet may I apologise for the "welsh" attack - we have had many similar "scottish" ones recently as it is an easy target given some happenings at both Cardiff and Swansea and the fact that MM is Scottish.

I am sure you will find that outiside of extreme anger situations and helped by a tiny amount of alcohol we are actually a fair minded bunch here

Having said that - I still hope MM fails abysmally for you and you do a Reading and get rid by Christmas and bring in a manager who has a clue about getting your side into the top six but KEEPING them there <yikes>

guys MM stands for Micky Mouse (manager) you should be glad he has left you, at least you will get a proper manager with higher standards. We all know that cardiff will be relegation fodder this season, His CV is crap but thats all the blue tits can attract these days so dont worry its a blessing in disguise and watford will be well ahead of cardiff in the championship that i have no doubt about...

I went to the Hammer in the Hand and saw the Scottish Scumbag last year, he spoke all the right words about how the club were going to move forward what a fcuking judas. I hope when they come to us this year we give them a thrashing like last year with our "boys" cos thats all that will be left unless we start spending some of the cash we have got in. Not that i don't think the boys can do a job for us but it will ba a lot harder wikthout the players that have moved on.

I just did not like the Anti -Scottishness on here, Luckily I refused to read all of it, I just skimmed over most of it but the tirade was stupid, again I ask what would you have said if he was English or would have regionalised it, is Geordie, Brummie, etc etc! No it is not right that he has shafted us by bringing Cowie and the Backroom staff, but Conway was not our player he was our wanted list but come on if someone is going to offer a player more money, what are they going to do? Think about it you are in a specific line of work there are two companies, one is offering more money doing exactly the same job! What are you going to do!?! Forget about loyalty, there is hardly any in Football!

Here's a man with the right idea!

“@mrporthal: @sords_20 money talks m8 if cardiff offer the money u will leave simple” Money isn't everything

Your right, i guess time will tell. What a turn around though eh?, Malky Mackay seemed good enough for you when you were flirting with the play-off places last season and the fact you refer to him now as "nothing special" just goes to show how bitter you really are. Don Cowie is going to be a really good player for Cardiff and your going to regret all this rubbish that your spouting.

Just for the record though, i'd rather be facing mid table obscurity then fighting relegation like your lot, sold some of your best players like Buckley and Graham (i bet Malky was chuffed with that btw). You want to talk about inexperienced managers?, I'm pretty sure Sean Dyche has never held a managerial position before and lets face it, he only got the job because Watford FC havn't got a pot to piss in. £3.5 mill from the Graham sale and you cant appoint a decent manager?. Its laughable how you can spout rubbish to make yourself feel better.

mmm, time for a bit of balance me thinks. I think we would all agree that Malky MacKay achieved a lot in the last 3 years, from being assistant to AB and BR to leading Watford through a potentially tricky period with a "plucky attitude".

Without a doubt Watford FC are now worse off in July 2011 than we have been for quite a while. When I look back at the last few years, Sean Dyche is our 4th rookie manager on the spin and I wonder if he has sufficient resources to help him prosper.

All Watford fans knew this summer was going to be a period of "asset sales", its just that IMHO Watford has sold just about all of the real assets that we had, all in one go, all in a bit of a hurry. And we are left wondering what there is to cling onto and to build from.

I expect Malky MacKay to be a success at Cardiff, and I wont mention his name any more from here. So to the Cardiff supporters who doubted our old manager, well let me tell you, you now have the crux of last year's coaching setup. I have no doubt you will soon form your own opinions.

Its just that we'd rather you didn't come on here and take the mickey. Thank you.
