Funny thing about Tobes is he comes onto a Liverpool forum and gets mad at everything because no one agrees with his comments.

Physio might have said it was a **** arse tackle and told the ref he thought it was a red...So what if he did? You can't have a go at the 'scruffy twat' as you call him and then chirp in over the non Gerrard incident.

Make your mind up Tobes, you're getting more double standards than the Mancs!

Yes that's exactly what happened & I wasn't having a pop at him, try reading the ****ing thread

I think Dowd might have sent him off if it wasn't for that scruffy twat of a physio shouting the odds at him. Our players went ape & Dowd wouldn't have wanted to be seen to have been influenced by a comment from the Liverpool bench

So your claiming Dowd would have given a red but for the physios input AND Dowd wouldn't have wanted to have been influenced? Nice contradiction <applause>

The ball is near Suarez's right foot!

That's not a foul as he's clearly got his eyes closed. And probably his fingers crossed too.

Martinez, you ****ing tithead.

What contradiction?

Try reading it again & let it permeate your nugget mate

& of course a kopite would never do such a thing......

Not like last season in the same fixture.....good god no .....

Maybe you should look at what you wrote...

"I think Dowd might have sent him off if it wasn't for that scruffy twat of a physio shouting the odds at him."

and

"Dowd wouldn't have wanted to be seen to have been influenced by a comment from the Liverpool bench"

That is a contradiction. We don't know if Dowd was going to send Miralles off or not prior to the physio getting involved but going by your suggestion in blue, surely if he didn't want to appear influenced (red) then he does the action he intended to do prior to the physio speaking to him?

Don't worry though, I don't expect you to accept the contradiction for what it is so I await you trying to twist in another direction <whistle>

Gerez are you really that thick lad or are you merely being obtuse?

The key word there was 'seen' <doh>

Let me spell it out for you, if he was considering pulling out a red card, but the physio comes on & tells him it was a red card challenge, the Everton players react angrily - if he pulls out a red now, he could be SEEN to have been influenced

Seen or actual is irrelevant, it shouldn't come into his thoughts at all. bu merely thinking along those lines, he IS being influenced <doh>

As for the "spelling it out" part, let me return the favour; you suggesting he didn't produce a would because of the physio suggests he WAS influenced. whether that influence is in favour of the physios associated team or not is irrelevant!

My original comment was a piss take but since you've taken it quite seriously then you really do need to look at it from the bigger angle and not just through those blue glasses you clearly have on in this instance.

Basically, what I am saying is your suggestion that whatever the physio said had any sort of influence on the referee is quite simply ridiculous.

PS...thanks for proving me right by the way <laugh>

Don't own Tobes too much. With the Mancs already gone it would be too quiet if he went off in a strop again.

Hahaha so thick it is then. <laugh>

I'll rip that pile of **** to pieces tomorrow when not on my phone

So after the strawman arguments, we're all agreed that the tackle warranted a red card and the ref was influenced by (insert from below here):

Occasion
Ego
Cowardice
Physio
Everton players possible opinion of him
Unknown

So didn't apply the rules of the game like he's paid to?

Just as the reason for the tackle is irrelevant

Any past incident in previous matches is irrelevant.

Red card worthy tackle, Ref got it wrong.

Good stuff!

Can't help but chuck insults into the equation can you <doh>

It was originally a piss take as I was bored at the time. I knew what you meant and I believe you know what I mean but as usual you refuse to give up (UIR mkII?). I truly can't be arsed with it now never mind when I'm at work! #moveon

Seems to me suarez kneed miralles studs.

Lucky boy miralles. If Suarez had been even a little bit peckish I dread to think of what might have happened.

This argument reminds me of an episode of the Simpsons when Homer says he'll use reverse, reverse psychology. :emoticon-0108-speec

It was a bad tackle. Amazing how he gets yellow, rooney gets yellow, medel gets nothing yet brown, with the tackle of the weekend gets a red.

Who is training these refs?
