That is a contradiction. We don't know if Dowd was going to send Miralles off or not prior to the physio getting involved but going by your suggestion in blue, surely if he didn't want to appear influenced (red) then he does the action he intended to do prior to the physio speaking to him?

Don't worry though, I don't expect you to accept the contradiction for what it is so I await you trying to twist in another direction
