Maybe he wants out because he knows he can't hack it? He couldn't when he was at Spurs and perhaps he is worried he will tarnish the glow of "superstar" he got so rightly last season in the Championship

Do you really believe that???

The one thing that Taarabt is certainly not lacking is self-belief so there is no way he will be deliberately ducking the Prem. What is clear is that the boy wants to play for a 'big club' and his agents continually work to line up something that fits this vision. The very biggest outfits are not willing to take a risk on what is clearly a highly flawed genius. Whether or not PSG meet that criteria in his eyes remains to be seen.

Thanks Adel for all the great memories especially the goals against Cardiff and the screamers against Preston. While I was hopeful we could keep him this season, I felt if a big club came in for him, his head would be turned. But PSG? I know they have new Qatari owners so can offer much better wages than QPR but he could have turned in some decent performances early season and been bought by one of the big boys in January. I suspect he realised he would struggle in the premier league so has opted to cash in on a move to ligue 1 which is everyone's opinion is possibly the same standard as the Championship but even that is debatable. The lure of the UEFA cup is the only genuine reason I can see. And yes I know all that carp about being closer to his family is important but surely a flight from London to Marseille is not much different to one from Paris to Marseille. Just a poor excuse he is using for why he is bottling the chance to shine in the premier league. I hope he stays but if not know that in my opinion you bottled it big time Adel and good luck finding another manager with Colin's level of patience for you.
