My point was simply that Brady keeps being criticised for having 'no end product' which is a criticism easily thrown about when you're talking about a winger who is fast and tricky, because it often is the case. But it does my head in when people say it about players who can actually cross very well, purely on the basis that they are fast and tricky so should be **** with the ball. People say it about Theo Walcott but if you actually care to watch him his crossing is quality these days. The same applies to Brady, no he doesn't have a lot of assists (sorry but stats like that are ****, just judging everyone on goals assists) but he has created goals single-handedly at times. Against Cardiff he had a brilliant game and when they equalised Brady immediately just made another goal from nothing, with a cross. He can use both feet, and he puts the best the ball in the ideal area every time, like a premiership winger. I'm not sure who the left back you're referring to is, but if it's Dawson that's the worst example, he's the complete opposite type of crosser to Brady, he puts it really high and in front of defenders so they can swat it away easily. Brady puts it behind them and quickly. There's no way anyone can say he has no end product. Not just me watching the games then.
ffs It doesn't matter how good the crosses look. THEY DON'T CREATE GOALS. I'd rather have Dawson's crosses "high and in front of defenders so they can easily swat it away" that are actually resulting in us scoring goals more often than Brady's "wicked" crosses that result in goal kicks for the opposition. Brady goal against Reading, assist from a cross against Cardiff. When else has his crossing or shooting resulted in a goal for us? (Don't bother giving me any goals where he's come inside and laid it off to someone like Koren, that's not the part of his game we're talking about)
