Hmm, City haven't had the best of starts and the binners have started a thread taking the piss. Certainly no chips on my shoulder. I know that by coming on to a rival board I shouldn't be surprised at some adverse comments, but I was just galled at your co-moderator's comments about my county and my city. It's just so crass, predictable and childish, and has no place on a football forum in my opinion. I wouldn't dream of saying the same things about Suffolk or Ipswich, just maybe a little banter about the club, and we all know how quickly such things can turn about! At least when you visit our board, you take the flak with good grace, and give it back in equal measure, not go off in a sulk. I just don't see why it has to be so damned personal with this guy.
In defence of Hampy, please quote what you think is crass? didn't really say that much apart from the obvious that every football supporter is now beginning to realise that Norwich fans are starting to believe their own hype and can't take anything bad to be said against their club, I mean how pathetic that McNally has to comment about Lawro, smacks of a stroppy kid who can't get their own way!
I have been a 606er for 10 years and on balance it is fair to say that the Budgies post far more bile against us than we do about them! They have a collective chip on their shoulders having lived in our shadow for years. We have posted some very respectful comments on the John Bond thread over on their board but could we honestly expect the same if say for example Mick Mills died tomorrow? The banter with the budgies is great and I enjoy it eventhough undoubtedly they have the bragging rights at the moment.
