You clearly missed the OP's intentions which were to wum and draw you in. My part I'm just being the devils advocate. And I'll think you'll find it's been more than 'the past few years' try two decades! You clearly didn't see the Chelsea v Napoli Barcelona v Chelsea (10 men) if those were not exciting I'd suggest you get out more!

So you are saying that Wembley will be a full house tonight by the 'Arsenal' attendance metric ??

You think we sold 127,000 seats?

You've only just sold out? The game is 6 hours away <laugh>

There'll be plenty of day trippers.

Again, I assume the OP (with his prescient powers) will confirm the actual % of those ...

They kept releasing more tickets, for some reason. It's sold out about four times already.
The latest batch came out this morning and the batch before that were Monaco's returns.
**** knows why they've done it this way, though.

Yep game was still not sold out yesterday. Guess that's why crowd was only 85k.

Liverpool got more v Barcelona 89845 for a friendly with more expensive tickets £26-£91

I think that might have had something to do with the attraction of seeing Barcelona. We were playing Monaco!...

It was sold out. The Monaco allocation had a few hundred seats empty but Spurs wouldn't have been allowed to sell all those. Wembley has a reduced capacity for CL games because the front few rows at each end can't be sold because there is some UEFA advertising that obstructs the view of the pitch. There were a tiny amount of no-shows as is normal for any match. Since Chelsea can't even fill Stamford Bridge for CL group matches its not obvious why you are so obsessed with this.

The Monaco returns were on sale on your website yesterday.

25k crowds for Europa games going to look pretty bad at Wembley next season

    Wrong again!
The Monaco returns (whole blocks) were sold last week. We obviously can't sell a few seats in blocks where Monaco fans are sitting. The ones that came up yesterday were from a late decision that rows 6-10 at the East and West end could be sold. They had a restricted view apparently but demand was such that they were released with that fully explained and they sold in minutes.
I bow to your knowledge of who will qualify for the CL next year.

Monaco sold about 300 and the rest was down to crowd segregation.

It will most likely be big 3: United City Chelsea plus Arsenal.

Spurs are struggling mentally from their title collpase and Euro 2016 debacle.

To be fair, having to sell 30000 plus tickets on general sale to Aussie backpackers and tourists cannot help the atmosphere and the players.

That was why I thought it was daft to go there for your Champions League games but I appreciate you didn't really have much choice.

Yes - its a disaster, we've played 5 matches won 2 drawn 2 and lost 1. We've scored eight goals and conceded four. This time last season we only had three points and hadn't won in the league.
I'll think you will find almost all those present were Tottenham fans. I'm not sure you understand what 'general sale' means. We have about 100,000 season ticket holders and members so it's pretty unlikely we could sell more than 80,000 tickets without letting fans who are not members having a chance to buy. I'm sure there were a few neutrals who wanted to watch a big club play.
