A lot is investor's capital and planes are often leased, don't be surprised if it all goes tits-up just like that. I do have my concerns, I remember all the bull he came out with trying to buy West Ham...
I feel that we are a shambolic soap opera. TF's pathetic and misleading tweets along with the blatant BS surrounding Harry's exit really suggests no great respect for the fans. We are not stupid. Really tired of all the BS that inevitably comes to nothing.
I just dreamt that Derby totally outplayed us in the play off final, we had a player sent off and then scored a last gasp winner totally against the run of play, then I woke up and it was real!!!!! Ooooiooiioh Bobby Zamora!!!!!!
Someone needs to remind Tony of the phrase, discretion is the better part of valour. Do your business quietly and just sit back and smile when it comes off. Also it's better to be quite, then people tend to under estimate you and it's easier to do your business un-molested.
Scathing but not unfair, I think. Fernandes is under stress - Air Asia crash and potential legal problems, getting divorced, trying to pull off a £1.5bn investment in a very long term property deal which is out of his control, club flirting with relegation, fines etc. Hence the random tweeting showing a complete lack of confidence in his own decision making. If you asked him his favourite colour he'd change his mind twice. It's absolutely the right thing to have Ramsey until the end of the season, but I reckon the board will panic again if we lose two on the bounce.
Great though it was to win at Sunderland it has to herald the start of a good run. A poor performance / loss at Hull next Saturday and the jitters will return The number of games left is running out, as is our squad of fit / uninjured players However, I was sitting only a few rows away from the Rs bench at Sunderland, and it is almost the first time the season away from home that the management team looked engaged with the players and seemed to have a viable plan / tactics. This positivity undoubtedly transferred itself onto the pitch, and poor though Sunderland were, the extra motivation and effort was there for all to see I really don't care that much who our manager is as long as they clearly want to be managing at our great club, and can motivate the players to achieve their potential. And not spout totally crap in every press conference - leave that to half the other Premier managers
Cannot believe i'm reading such cynicism on this thread!!! Personally, enjoy reading Tony's tweets. A chairman who cares about the fans and tries his best to keep them in the loop. Why can't we take his tweets at face value, instead of reading into things that aren't there?
I think its right to go with Ramsey for the rest of the season but ffs let him focus on the first team rather than spread him too thinly!
Can't see any cynicism or reading things into anything. On Sunday Fernandes tweets that he's found his 'dream manager', but can't get him in yet. On Tuesday we win a game. On Thursday the caretaker manager is appointed until the end of the season. On Saturday Fernandes tweets that the caretaker can build a 'huge career' at QPR. No need to find a sub text, it's there in black and white, a chaotic mind at work. With this flip flopping it's only fair to surmise a couple of losses could see another change of mind.
I thought I was the only one who had never heard of him, if he does a good job give it to him, but I have my suspicions that are not to be talked about on this board
Absolutely. Here I was so stupidly thinking that the team was finally taking a long-term view and building. Now it seems that Fernandes really has a plan...until he has another plan, which may change between the appetizer and the main course or evolve on the walk from the car park to the front door. That man needs to stay off Twitter.
I don't mind TF Tweeting as long as he thinks about timing and what he says. That stupid Tweet about 'Dream manager' just before we are about to play Sunderland was not helpful.
Agreed. I love the idea of him engaging with the community and fans, but his messages just sew confusion, not clarity. Today's ramble looks like he's compensating for his thoughtless tweet with more thoughtlessness. He doesn't fully appreciate that people actually read his tweets and think about what they mean. He needs to be clear and more deliberate about these things, not random and flippant.
...on the contrary, the result up at Sunderland suggests it might have actually galvanised the whole place!
What, to say to a manager that you are about to be replaced by your 'dream manager'? TBH I think the players played for CR and Sunderland were poor, it had nothing to do with TF's ill timed Tweet. TF actually causes unnecessary confusion/conflict/debate between QPR fans; Even Kevin Gallen has said he needs to watch what he says on twitter. His misinformed tweets about the New Stadium/Training ground just cause him and QPR embarrassment. Yes TF should Tweet but remember their are people who hang onto his every word, as you said that should take him at 'face value' ?
