I think he would be fine playing in the middle behind the strikers. He can shoot well from there and has the pace and ability to go passed people.
Why wouldn't they? We are the team of the future, we'll rewrite the record books, 1st London, 2nd England 3rd Europe then world domination. The future is Blue and White, stop me if I'm getting carried away.
Last I heard Pochettino wanted Townsend to stay at Spurs. Townsend seems like a nice bloke and was ok on the telly at the WC, but I honestly don't rate him that highly. Phillips and Hoilett (on a good day) are just as good and they already play for us. I hate us doing business with Levy anyway, hope nothing comes of it.
We're all living the dream have a feeling our stay in the premier league will be a bit better than our last attempt
Getting back to the original thread. With out come across as a hater of Tony but his twits are very unreliable. Remember he promised strikers all last year.
I would have Townsend back in a heart beat. Phillips has yet to prove himself and Hoilett's good days are too infrequent.
If you're going to stick a bag on someone's head and bundle them into the back of a van, you're not going to ask them to program in your Tom Tom first.
He means it literally. Much like the training ground they've come up with a plan B for the stadium, and they've put Loftus Road on wheels. The next stage of the plan it to wheel it up to Wormwood Scrubbs, thereby allowing the ground to be expanded and increasing the capacity at a far lower cost.
Engineering genius!! TF always delivers. Wonder if he's using old F1 tyres on the wheels to speed it up?
http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/new-contract-for-kane-140814/ New Contract for Kane - so unless they were going to loan him out the potential swap deal - Remy for Townsend and Kane, would be oak.
