If we don't sign ANYONE, that's a sign the board have either chucked in the towel or completely lost faith in Redknapp's abilities in the transfer market. Our squad is the poorest in the division. Woeful at the back and well short up front. If we don't add to it any shape or form (having already offloaded Mutch) we are most definitely getting relegated.

I'm not surprised.

Could be that ...

1. TF has said no more money.
2. All our targets have said "no" or wanted too much dosh. So we'll just say that we were always going to stick with what we have.
3. There WILL be a surprise (or maybe two) but they are loans and don't count as "business".:emoticon-0105-wink:
4. Sir Les has been given a pair of boots and told "Get out there and see what you can do!"
5. TF and the other directors are scared of relegation and FFP and so have backed us heavily to go down - using the winnings to pay off the FA.

any other ideas?

Yep, he's making Redknapp's position untenable in the hope he resigns instead of Fernandes having to sack him. Won't have to pay up any residual on the contract that way.

Alarmingly similar to the last January window we had in the prem. Ironically the same players (CB, LB, RB, S) still need replacing. If Redknapp manages to pull a rabbit out the hat and signs some mercenaries to keep us up, then next season it will be the same story again. If the club see it as over a 70% chance that we will go down, I wouldn't sanction any more transfers into the club. It's just more money wasted and problems for next season.

The Yak has gone to Reading, cross another one of that list that the media said we were linked with.....

Is No 5 even legal?!!

We could buy Messi, Ronaldo and Fabregas for £500,000,000 but by the time our Manager and Coaches had got their hands on them they would end up being worth about £5,00,000.

Tony must think I have coughed up good money or/and wages for Ferdinand (useless), Sandro (Sick Note), Kranjcar (looks mush older that his 30 years), and Zamora (should have been put out of his misery at the end of last season). to name a few, and he must be thinking what I have got in return? Not a lot!

Only mystery is a new manager with the right tactics might just have been able to save us with this team, so why stick with Harry?

The only good thing about this complete lack of activity anywhere is that it screws up Sky, how are they going to fill in the hours of nothing happening?

4.00 nothing happening...no rumours...nowt
Queen Park Rangers have made a Transfer Deadline Day approach for Blackburn midfielder Josh King.

The 23-year-old has been at Rovers since November 2012, arriving initially on loan before signing a permanent deal just over two years ago.

The Norwegian-born midfielder joined Manchester United as a trainee in 2008 but never played for the first team while embarking on a number of loan deals before moving to Ewood Park.

He made his international debut in September 2012 and has scored four goals for his country.

I think the above is new, not seen anywhere else!

I've not known a last day transfer window without us not signing anyone, could it be today no one comes in? It looks that way.

I can live with that. Maybe it could be used as a positive by Messrs Black and Co to say we believe in you as a bunch of players and we want you to go out and play as if your lives depended upon it.
